Brookesville Friday night race 1-19-07

We are planning to go try the Brooksville track out Friday night since it is on the SSQSA schedule.
It would be nice if we could get some quads to show up and race and show some support to the track and SSQSA.
Anybody else interested?

This would also be a very good time to give the track some suggestions. They really want to have a good track with the area they have. I went down last friday to look over the track. Looks like a fun track.

i went there one friday. too much money but the track is actually pretty fun.

For all that are interested. Mention SSQSA and you can get the one day membership for 5.00.

Does the ssqsa have a website or anything to go to for more information? Where in Brooksville is the track located?

ya i went a while ago with jake...its very expensive...pretty fun though, but a lot of quads out there...uhh no thanks, that could get ugly $:-\$

not sure the exact date..not to long ago, it was after OAS bought it and re did everything.

we went there about a month ago. the track is a supersross style track with triples that are pointed straight up not very wide either. if it did not cost so much i would go back. but you do get decent amount of practice time. 3-4 practices and 2 races. oh and god the paper work sucks!!!!! lol

OK, I talked with Chris at OAS about the track and the friday night racing.
Here is what I took from that.
Gates open at 4
Practice starts at 6
Racing starts at 7
$10 gate fee (which we talked about that it should be $5 like every place else)
$25 per class (which is like every place else)
$30 membership (which is like every place else)
$5 one day pass if you mention SSQSA (normally $10, like every place else)

They would like to have about 50-60 to race. If not enough show up then they run 15 min practice motos.
He talked about a long sweeper, step-ups and step-downs and a couple 30ft tables and one 65ft table with a hump in the middle. He only mentioned one triple and he said he was going to try and make two lines in the corners.
We are still planning on trying it out Friday night. It would be nice to see some more quads show up.

I finally got my bike all fix up, are you guys going to the Brooksville track or what? I'm hearing different views about the track. Is it cool to come or what?

We are putting Lyndon's quad together tonight and should be there tomorrow evening. I will post if we are not going.

NO I STILL OWN IT,I THINK I WOULD HAVE KNOW IF DANNY (OAS) HAD BOUGHT IT, ALTHOUGH O.A.S. HAS BEEN ACTIVE IN SOME EVENTS AND I (GIVE) THEM A SPOT FOR FRIDAY NIGHT RACING WHICH NO LONGER EXIST.
