I've stayed in that camp. It's owned by my ex-wife's cousin. There's a real toilet, shower (with hot water), A/C, about 10 single beds, deep freezer, stove, just about everything you can think of.

Just for informational purposes. The NPS is in the process of making the entire Big Cypress a designated trail only area. A lot of it has to do with what they say is damage from ORV just riding anywhere they want. It has already happened south of U.S. 41 and WILL happen north of it as well in due time. I hunt out there and hate the fact that I have to stay on designated trail and can't get to where I want to hunt legally without walking. They limit the number of permits to try and keep the ORV traffic down. The permits go to not just ATVs but to buggies and airboats as well and they only sell 2000 per year. If you happen to be one of the people that rides hellbent just because you can, please don't go out there and ruin it for the rest of us that use it for other puposes.

That is pretty sad concidering over 90% of the ATVs have pipes with spark arrestors installed on them. Granted some people do ream out their pipes to try and get more power damaging the spark arrestor, but that is a few compared to those who just get aftermarket pipe. Most aftermarket pipe have spark arrestors in them.

State LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS that really have the authority to keep us from riding anywhere out there if they choose to. Just be glad all they did was ask you to leave.

The blue line that is shown coming from the north is actually in the swamp and there is no road there. The racetrack is a few more miles east of there. The high school is on 167 ave (Tennessee Rd).

Well, if any of you go riding at the Hump this weekend, it should be good. It's raining right now, so if you're riding a 2 wheel drive, look out.
Mudsplasher, just take the stretch, it's faster and easier.

Hey, I live in South Florida and the riding off card sound road is real good. But if you never made a Turkey Point Run, you got to do it. Its some nasty trails but there real fun. Very few people know of the Point run. It can be a real challenge at times. The west side can be a real "B" if you know what I mean.
