help i'm having a get-r-dumb moment

my honda foreman-s 4x4 i noticed has a small maybe 3/8 black rubber hose with what looks to be a small inline check valve dangling down from what looks to be the carburater dangling end aint attached to nothin is this normal whats its porpose bike runs fantastic as is

i think its a breather hose, i have 2 on all 3 of my quads

its just there to equal out the pressure and well let the carb breath lol, and i dont think u should worry
