Transfering a title...

Got a new bike this weekend. How do I transfer the title? The lady signed it and all and I have the title just need to transfer it. Anyone know the process?

What he said. Make sure you have your drivers license or some form of ID.

Do not put down a dollar amount. Tell them you traded for it. That will save you tax money. All you will have to pay is transfer fees.

ya hes right tax is not fun but dont get caught you will get fined.not trying to bust your bubble but letting you know the risks.but they shouldnt question you.

What ever the sales tax is in your county.

I think its 7% here. Should be around $40.

Forgot to say, you can go to any DMV in the state.

I used to go to the next town over, it happened to be in a different county.
Only went there because it was a small town, and you could be in and out in minutes.

Ok on the bottom where all the info has to be filled out. What did the seller have to fill out. All the lady did was print and sign. No other info of hers is on the bottom.

Now you sign and print your name and write down trade for selling price. Don't give them any more money then you have to.

Ok will do. Thanks man. It says odometer but this bike doesnt show the hours or miles.
