how old to race mx

i have a yfz 450 and im 14 i would like to know how old i have to be to start racing..

Well thanks to our lovely government (s.o.bs) you have to be 16 to ride that quad. I don't know if some tracks take that into consideration but if they do you are screwed. Our backwards government thinks that we should only be riding a 90. F***ed up i think. By the way im 13. I belive i'm the youngest member on this site with his own screen name. I'm not into racing at all but i think that they would follow the regulations for orginized racing.  [smiley=dunno.gif]

You can run the Florida series races, but you cannot run in the Floridatrailriders series races. Most local tracks should let you slide in there local series races too.

you can run any local track,,, you wont be able to run the Nationals tho got to be 16 to run a 450. if u had a 300cc below bike then u could run the nationals.

well i'm 15 turning 16 this year and i was thinking bout starting too race next year on my 450r but cant count ur chickens before they hatch and hopefully they dont change the age limit

If you go to the right track and talk it out that you can ride good they'll probably let you race
