my new jeep

woot woot! got me a jeep





it's a 4 cylinder 5 speed, 140,000 miles, 1991. i really like it so far and was in my price range. what do you think and what should be my first mods to it? it doesnt have a radio so what should i do for a radio? i have a pioneer mp3 cd player with all the lil stuff i guess i could throw in there with a detachable face, but what else could i do to help make it a little more theft proff? i mean i know it's always going to be able to be stolen as it is a jeep, but what would atleast slow a theif down from prying a radio out of it? also, the roll bar speaker pack thing they have on ebay, is that any good?

stay away from those  roll bar speaker pack off ebay.my dad had one for his jeep and it fell apart our 1st time at mac's fish camp

what was wrong that made it fall apart? i want to lift eventually but dont truly want to comprimise what gas mileage it does get

Nice find. See if you can score some tuffy lock boxes. Either the center console or the tuffy glove box are a good start it's tough securing anything without them. Look up www.quadratec.com they can give you some general ideas. if you decide to go hardcore with your rig try www.pirate4x4.com these guys are extreme. Good luck and have fun.
