Question For The Jeep Guys

i know this isn't a jeep site but i figure id ask, when looking for a jeep what are some of the things i should look for, i know an I6 and 4x4 are on top but what are some common things to look for, thanks guys

i plan on this jeep being a part time driver and some mud fun

If your talking about a used Jeep, and you know its been offroaded, bring a flashlight and double check the under carriage.

My dad is in the same market you are, except we're going brand new.  Look into the Liberty models.  We had an 04 Sport and it was awesome offroad... and it was only 2WD.  We might end up getting the new 08 model that looks like a mini-commander.
