side note to the 2007 schedule change

the changes prompted me to do some financial research and what i found out is very discouraging


if the race shedule would not have changed for this season i would have spent the following

6140 miles resulting in $1920 for fuel
12 races x 2 ( my son) resulting in $480
gate fees for 5 resulting in $420
flat track tires resulting in $400
generator needs fuel too resulting in $600 for season

with no damage or repairs............
total for the season is $3820
or
$318.33 per race day
or
$5.13 per  average 25 second lap
or
18600 seconds of ride time
or
310 minutes total
or
25.83 minutes a race day
or
$12.32 for every minute on the track


















oh yea, 98 hours of travel time

that is why i cant race this season! i can go to seminole for some air time 3 times for the price of 1 race
