my sister runs an organization called every one needs a hero     they  find  kids  in other countrys that need  medical help  to live. theve been doing very well but  need more support...  they just got a new case and  are asking for any help they can get

Exaticly, its great that your sisters organization is help kids in other countries but why not start here. Its always lets feed ethopians or adopt cambodian kids but you never see kids in this country getting help. Just a thought.

I saw that someone checked out the everyone needs a hero site from atvflorida.com so I followed the link. Thanks for mentioning the organization. I appreciate it! I saw someone's comment asking why we aren't helping people here first. Just so you know, this is our reasoning: In the US, a child will never be turned away for treatment b/c they cannot pay. They may be in debt for the rest of their lives, but the hospital will not let them die b/c they can't afford an operation. The kids we help would die without our support. This situation could never happen in the US. Can you imagine watching your kid or parent die when you know there is a cure, but the hospital won't let you in unless you can pay about 10 times your annual salary up front (no credit)? There is no question that we have problems in this country, but they don't even compare to what these people are going thru
