From what perspective is rock dead? 2004's Album of the Year was U2's How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, 2005's was Green Day's American Idiot, this year the Stones have sold tons of their Bigger Bang CD and so has Clapton with Back Home! If we're talking popularity, that too is a matter of perspective. Just look at how many records Ashlee Simpson and some of those other previously-mentioned artists have sold and who people vote for?
