oversized exhaust pipe ?

I have a 03 z400 with a yoshi ship on and i would like to know if a oversized pipe make that much difference or should I invest is new cames instead . also would I need to re-jet again with a new pipe .

a bigger exhaust would be better im sure, but cams will probly give u a better power increase.
