My bf and his 2 buddies are heading to hard Rock this saturday.. they'll be riding dirtbikes...
his is a YZ 250, his buddies ride a 400 Honda and a Cr 125....
The guy on the blue bike is Billy, my bf...
I wanted to go, but people keep getting sick and showing up at the hospital!

Actually 10 mph, but it still sux.

Gotta say, I  went to Bostwick yesterday and it was awesome! Lots of tabletops, good for begininers, one doulble jump that hurt.....
But it was well groomed, check it out!

So, took my quad out to Bostwick Creek MX park yesterday, and i am just getting brave enough to jump the hills instead of rolling them.
So, I start jumping and at first, i am landing way forward and subsequently have a sore chest and wrists due to it, but anyways...
I start jumping bigger, and landing further back, and  CLUNK
total bottom.
So i try to adjust my landings and no go, still bottoming out.
I have a DS 250- which is truly not a "sport" quad, but i got it t o do trails and track, and it was suggested to me by the dealer OVER the quadsport.
It has a rear monoshock....
Anyone know any way to adjust the dampening?

ps-Bostwick is awesome! Huge track and well groomed, they have 2 hare scramble trails and a mini track for the kiddies.

The Rainbow Bridge Story
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

I wanna go, I am afraid that it will be a little while before my poor mangled bike is out of the shop, though.
And when I do go, don't laugh at me, I am still learning! I have only ridden that track once, and it was the back track (bunny slopes, lol)

Quick Track in Lakeland is a good starter level. My bf was out there the weekend before our bikes were stolen and it looks awesome, and they have a trail scramble too.
He took video and there were LOADS of quads there.

I know! With my quad being stolen and now in the shop, I am gonna miss it! I am so ticked. We had plans to go

If anyone rides out there, please be on the lookout for these bikes, being ridden or have been dumped. I got some tips that punks from out there steal bikes them dump them in the woods there or the powerlines at 42 or Orange City.

Have you been out to St Francis trail? It's a spot out 44 right inside lake County...that's where we go..lots of dunes and trails, it's get real muddy when it rains, too.

I figure I will keep this til I pay it off, then get something much quicker, by then I will be more experienced.
I haven't had any complaints yet on the quality, seems very well put together.

Thanx for the support guys, yeah my atv is automatic. It's a great little bike. Yeah, I would think Yamaha parts would be more available than BRP.

I just got a Bombardier, and my only complaint is that i can't find parts, but that's because the model just came out..
It handles well, has great bounce, and it's fast enough.

I went out to the power lines at 44 and 42 and blew off some steam, so i feel a little better.
It's so annoying though...

I bought a new atv, a DS 250, and now I cannot find any parts for it.
I have been told it is because it is a brand new model, but that's so friggin' bogus.
I can't even take it and ride at a track because I can't  get nerf bars.

We used to ride at a place called Martin's Derry (I think) when I was a kid, but that was like 15 years ago...an ex of mine used to go mountainbiking there about 5 years ago, so I don't know if it is still there or not.

WHoa, you  can ride in DPE? That's like 5 minutes from my house....
LOL, it's probably the land that my boyfriend the realtor is trying to sell !!
