yup, work and the previous happenings here kept me away. dunno why but I logged on here to find where quadski was hiding.

I log on and see this post,,,,here bitches.

tis rare indeed, I used to pop in every now and then, this time happened to be looking in the for sale section to see if anybody had a small enclosed trailer for sale,,,,what has happened, this place seems dead?

Just the way he addressed his wife in front of witnesses makes me dislike and not want to believe he believed he was in the right.

I hear they have special places in prison for ex-cops.

Id@

sorry man, all I found were these two, I also found one of you back at the rec room back at the campground, but man looking at all the pics brings back memories

yes we can ride from the cabin, legally,,,,,no.

I'll look for the pic when I get back home this evening, I still have the one of you wrapped up in her blanket somewhere.

Id@

dude, I still wear my tshirts I got from the Rodman Ride, unfortunately the old days are gone, I wish I could meet you up there and you could just camp at the cabin, who knows it's still a little bit away and could happen.

Id@

Wow, I should probably not respond to tht one :-)

Hey, them KQ's ain't no slouches

I might be, it's been forever and a day since I've been out there and my daughter hasn't been out on her quad in a while, but we're headed up to Ocala to put security cameras up on a cabin up there.

wait,,,,Anoriginal had to "ida out" on riding at Croom?

now way ;-)

didnt know this place was still open, kept hearing about johnny law running people off,,,,,are we talking the I95 side or the other?

last I heard the Everglades headwaters proposal was out the window as far as RR was concerned.

and that makes me happy

before ATP got a hold of my 400EX and made it a ton faster, I used to get about 90 miles out of the tank before I hit the reserve tank,,,and I didn't exactly put put around, nor am I a small guy.

I find I get way less mileage out of my rubicon, I don't trust going more than 50 or so miles.

I like the idea Steve, and yes I was remembering those rides every time I throw on one of the two t-shirts I still have from the first big Rodman ride that Suzieblazer had made up(and one of them is still stained from clay at Durhamtown from '05).

I miss those days and I think the seperation of riders is more due to gas prices and distance at the moment, I haven't been able to put together $400 I'd need for a weekend trip to the Plex in a while, then schedule seems to get in the way and I have to "Id@ out".

Why not let's try to set a date, I know Memorial day is gonna be big at any park, what's the next feature weekend after that at the Plex Paul?

Ider

Some people think DFA is trying to steal business from the Motoplex.

isn't that the way business is supposed to be?

Unless they are both owned by the same person, there's no reason they shouldn't be in competition.

I love the Plex and if I had a choice of going anywhere right now I'd choose it because I know Paul, I know the people that go there and it is like a big family and I'll support it.

Of course if there are competing OHV parks, they are gonna advertise for the same weekends, ATVFL is the biggest ATV website in FL, so they both advertise in the same spot, what's the big deal?

Id@

Hey there buddy, I guess I've been out of it for a while and missed something.

Honestly I don't even know where DF is, but I haven't been to the Plex since October '09 and haven't been riding with anybody in an organized way since then.

so,,,,to get you so upset, what did I miss?

Id@

I have retired, and there is no one to carry on

Terry, is the ONFA still meeting? I haven't heard of a meeting since we met back in '07 I think in downtown Ocala.

And have you asked if there would be someone interested in carrying on?  You never know, there might be a guy in Salt Springs ;-)

any idea if I can do a check to see if they are stolen before I go asking for a lost title?

I'd kinda like to register them now so I'm completely legal,,,,I almost hate to admit it but I kinda like the trails up there,,,,at least what I rode

I'm excited about this as well, I'd like to get out there for some photos

hey gladesman, what congressman's chief did you speak to? was it Webster? if so, I hope Pepper was hospitable to you, I've known her since she was just barely in high school.

So, in regards to getting a US congressman's attention, I've just learned that Daniel Webster is holding two public meetings this coming week;

Tuesday, February 22nd, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., at the Winter Garden City Hall, First Floor 300 West Plant Street (Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=300+West+Plant+Street,+Winter+Garden,+FL&aq=0&sll=28.564331,-81.58961&sspn=0.008123,0.018904&g=300+West+Plant+Street,+Winter+Garden,+FL&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=300+W+Plant+St,+Winter+Garden,+Orange,+Florida+34787&ll=28.564321,-81.589622&spn=0.008123,0.018904&z=16

and,

Thursday, February 24th, 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. in the Celebration Town Hall, 851 Celebration Ave. (Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=851+Celebration+Avenue,+Celebration,+FL&aq=1&sll=28.564321,-81.589622&sspn=0.008123,0.018904&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=851+Celebration+Ave,+Celebration,+Osceola,+Florida+34747&z=16

I wish I had the time between work and school to make it, but I might be able to finagle going on Thursday,,,,other than just walking in and yelling out "I hate federal intrusion on my fun!" I'm not really sure what to say to get his attention and maybe help with this, any helpful hints?

Id@

Fyi, Dan Webster was a state rep for a while, he was recently elected to take Alan Grayson's spot in Washington.

How did you get a tape from the meeting? Any way we can download I or somehow listen?

Id@

just a thought, but what about getting Terry Thompson in on this?  seems like what the feds wanna do with RR is exactly what they did with Ocala, and maybe he would have some advice at the least as to what to do to help combat them.

Also, I don't know if it would even help, but I'm a friend of Daniel Webster's chief of staff and I'm sure I could bend his ear a bit on this if I asked.

Id@

DUDE, long time no see, and no worries about people trying to be jerks with ya, I'll yank their hand off and slap them with it for ya.

good to know you're still around

looks like from the RPMs that he needed another gear
