Group Rides & Events / Re: Big Scrub this weekend?
March 21, 2006, 05:18:08 AM
Be sure to have cash and exact change for the 6 bucks a night. My RV will have a big "V" in shoe polish on the windshield so stop by and say hey. I have never been to Delancy. Can you ride ATV's in and out? Does anyone know if big scrub is open all week? I'm heading up Wednesday morning and staying the whole week. It will be tough to get in Friday evening. You should take Friday off and come up earlier!! :P

Anyone not going there check group rides for that weekend. Agent is getting a camping crew going to Big Scrub. :-\

I'm having some work done on my RV at the moment and it doesn't look good. I may head up for the day this Saturday with Mudbugger and Chillinthemost. I may be able to make it that weekend as long as I get out by noon or so on Sunday. I have an early flight to LA on Monday.

I am meeting some folks there on the 21st. any chance you can change your date? Also, is there RV camping there? Prefer full hook up but not required.

The folks are correct! I went on a group ride with Chillinthemost a few months ago and now I hardly have time to visit this web site. Be Careful though. Since that ride I have spent a fortune on wife a quad, modify trailer, by RV to go for weekends ect... ITS ADDICTING!!! Look for for the rednek crew in Big Scrub on January 21st. & 22nd. 30' Coachmen, Rhino 660 Polaris 450 and Yama 80. See ya there!

Tech Corner / Tires for Yamaha 80
November 24, 2005, 08:21:31 AM
I bought an 05 Yamaha 80 a couple months for the kid and have been looking for tires. It came with 18-8-7's on the rear and 18-7-7's on the front. Any one ever heard of 22-8-7's. I think four of those would give the bike the ground clearance I'm looking for.

Any info on this subject will be appriciated. especially if this is a dumb idea!

I checked out the web site and this looks wild! I couldn't find anything on camping or trails. Could someone fill in the blanks? I have an 8 year old and I did see some pics with kids so that looks like it would be cool. He is an above average rider and a good catch. (when I through him the tow strap) Count me in!!!
#14
That maybe a plan. Is there a web sight with camping info? Directions from Kissimmee? Thanks
#15
I made it back from Tn. yesterday. I will concentrate on bottled water, cookies and sodas. I always carry a tool box, tow strap and I will have a 6 gal. reserve gas can along as well. The Rhyno will be loaded so we'll just meet you at the pit. I'll be out of Kissimmee by 0630 at the latest.
;D
Everyone drive safe!

Count me and little rednec in if it is within a 100 miles of Orlando

Sorry to here about the storm and grade problems. I will have 2 coolers and a 6 gal tank in back of rhino. I,m not sure who is most exited in my family. We are ready!!! I will be leaving Kissimmee at 0600. I will bring extra sodas and a bunch of water.and cookies

Yee haw, Just got the OK from the big boss. Can't wait to meet everyone! Is any one bringing cookies kinda stuff for the BBQ? That will be one of the things I will bring. I will be 3 quads 3 adults and 1 little rednek. Is there a hotel at fort Mccoy??? Sounds like it would be a good weekend adventure.
:) ;D ;) :D 8)

Where to Ride? / ONF after Wilma rain?
October 25, 2005, 05:16:10 PM
I was planning my first trip there this weekend on my Rhyno 660. My son rides a yamaha 80cc 4 wheeler. Do you think there will be any good trails with less than 8" water?
#24
I have never been to ONF but was planning to go this weekend. Any idea how it will be after Wilma dropped all that rain yesterday? My son rides a 80cc Yamaha so that limits me a bit on water depth. Thanks
