Yes I joined the Border Patrol.  Been working with them for about 5 years now.  Plan on moving back to Florida within the next year so figured I needed to get back in the loop as far as riding spots go.

Hey everyone, not new to this site but haven't been on in quite some time.  From Florida but living in Texas at the moment.  I still have my property at Holopaw and was wondering how things are there?  Thanks.

Oh ok I didn't know they were one in the same

Where is this event located at ?  Is there a website ?

I'm in a little shithole of a town called Artesia....about 30 minutes south of Roswell (the alien place).  It's just desert out here, and some mountains off in the distance.  The weather is best described as the Bermuda Triangle.....like take this morning for example.....woke up and its 26 degrees, go to lunch and its like 60 degrees, go to the pistol range in the afternoon and its blowing 60 mph and there is a sandstorm.....ridiculous.

But other than that its a PARADISE lol

I'll be in Texas soon enough and there is plenty of riding.....just need to buy a new bike

nahh, it cause its hard to sell something that is in the repair shop!!!

this guy is lost lol

We desperately need a playoff system......and Tebow is an animal

GO CANES

Whats up everyone......still training out here in New Mexico for my new job with Homeland Security.  I miss Florida though and I miss riding even more.  Hope everyone is doing well and getting along on the site LOL

thanks everyone    :W

thanks.....aim small, miss small

ya I was selling the red honda but I sold it....will get a new bike after the academy.....not sure what yet though

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.  If I'm lucky, I will get to be on a quad all day.  I have my fingers crosssed.  I think illegal immigration is a major part of the decline of this country so I'm just hoping to be able to do my part in cleanings things up !!

I'll keep yall updated on the fun.

Yeah just remember you don't get paid to ride wheelies all day.lol. Good luck and be safe.

LOL...im just hoping to be on a boat or ATV.....either of those would be niiiiiiice

I am officially a U.S. Border Patrol Agent now.  I finally got the call.  I leave for the academy on December 1st and after that I will be stationed in Texas, near Brownsville.  I can't wait to get into some action.  Not a huge fan of leaving Florida but its worth it.

Go Longhorns......just kidding......GO CANES

you know as well as I know that its not going back to a hunting-only area....unless they outlaw ATVs out there.......there are WAY more people that ride than hunt out there

I think the State has bigger things to worry about right now.....like their budget

I'm not sure who would have that kind of authority

I can't ride this weekend but possibly the weekend after

I haven't chimed in for a few days so I will now.  The Tide are gonna roll themselves right out of the national title game following their loss to Florida.  I can see it now.....Texas Tech vs. Florida for the title....David vs. Goliath.....TEXAS TECH....NATIONAL CHAMPS.....can you feeeeeeel it ?

LOL

p.s. GO CANES !!

You won't get any sympathy here. This is a site for riding, hunting, and drinking. Other than that, your on your own!!

maybe not from you.....other people might have gone through a similar situation and might be able to help him out

And this site is much more than that......if you dont believe me check out the political threads LOL

It was a freaking blast.  Got back at 2:30 a.m.   Most fun I've had in a while.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, blah blah blah.  It's simple.  Not playing in the SEC isn't the reason Miami has all those national championships.  I didn't see any SEC team beating them any of those years in the title game.  That was a stupid argument LOL.

And if you go back and read my posts I did not say the SEC was a cupcake conference.  The past decade it has been the toughest.  I said that this year its not the toughest conference, the Big 12 is.  And I'm not sure how anyone in their right mind can disagree with that THIS year.  And yes, the SEC is overrated this year.  Look at the teams that were supposed to be the big hype and haven't played up to expectations (Auburn, LSU, Georgia) and then you have the teams that normally are much better (Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina).  The results speak for themselves.

And as for the quote about not wanting to play in the SEC.  Please find the exact quote and who said it before using that quote as the basis to your entire argument lol.  There is a lot that goes into which conference a team will play in and what the schedule will be (and the schedules are made years in advance).  Maybe it made better sense financially to play in the ACC, who knows.  But to argue about what conference Miami plays in is a moot point.  It's a done deal, it is what it is, you play the cards that you are dealt.  Maybe in 10 years the Pac-10 will be the toughest conference.  Probably not but no one knows.

You win your games in your conference and hope for a favorable BCS spot.  It's a stupid system but that's all we have right now.

well the rivalry is 28-26 for the canes so I would hardly say that's a  whooping and yes we did lose to ole miss  but when miami moves to the sec and plays the teams we play then you can talk ole miss is probably better than ranked acc teams and so far miami has played 3 ranked team florida state, north carolina and florida all 3 where losses you have still got georgia tech so ya'll might get one win over a top 25 team and yes you do have more national championships i'll give you that but if miami was in the sec it might be a different story

I like b.graves respond alot better. His are simple and straight to the point. You my friend are making excuses for your team. Like i mentioned before i think the Gators would be ranked #1 if they didnt lose to a unranked team. I simply mentioned we lost to better teams and the games we lost we actually had a  chance to win. We are playing with rookies and keeping up with our division thats not an excuse its just a simple fact. This year the Gators are alot better than the CANES. Next year i dont think we will be saying the same. And yes we do have more NATINAL CHAMPIONSHIPS than any football team in the state. Dam that feels good to say.
