Alright, I know were all from florida and most of you are florida fans, but who do you truly think is going to win.  Factor in their scedules and all that and give your prediction and if you could why and by how much.

We'll root for the gators, but the butteyes do look really strong.

Gators have no turnovers, they win in a close one.

Well obviously I'm for Ohio State! It will be a close game. I'm hoping for a 34-21 OSU. I don't want the gators to be too far behind. I'm extremely happy that the Gators made it there tho! This is going to make for a great game and of course a great opportunity for one hell of an Championship party!! Go Bucks!

Chris Leak will never win a national championship (I hope I'm wrong).

i vote yes cause of the speed of florida. yea im a gator fan but i honestly think our defense can stop osu. if our offense shows up it will be close but i think florida can pull it off. osu has never played a team like florida in speed and with a #1 or at least a top 3-5 defense. so if florida can put some points on the board they will win in a very close good game. they always seem to find the points to win. if the offense plays like they did in the 4th against arkansas they have their 2nd championship.

Florida has the speed, thats for sure!  Get the ball to Harvin, Caldwell, Cornelius and Ingram.  Just don't let Leak run the option.

One more note.  Was that fake punt called by Meyer the gutsiest call of the season?

OSU played absolutely no one other than Michigan which was a close game, their defense is overrated as Michigan proved. The Gators have a better chance than people think.

Lets see if this thread gets fired up. Boise State should be in this game. They have not lost a game all season. LMAO

i cant wait to see OU rock their world this year. that will show them that they didnt deserve it at all. im sayin OU by 70.

People(up north) are really underrating UF cause they havent seen them play, The UF defense it brutal and causes turnovers. There type of speedy , ellusive players on offense is something  Ohio does not get to see because of who they play. The secondary pounds Ohio making them pay everytime they catch the ball and obviously they stuff the run, special teams make big plays , still its a close one UF wins 24-13.

I have watched them both play and it will be a close game! They both have been playing really well this year with an exception of a few games on both sides that should have been played better. To me this game will be more exciting than christmas ;) lol

Even though Ohio State has a few big games, their sceduel is no where near what Floridas is. Florida has one of the best defenses in the nation and it will be intresing to see how OU handles it. But there are 2 main keys to victory for florida. First and foremost, they have to play 60 minutes of football. Not just the last 15. If you let OU get up by more that 17 or so points then game over. Thier defense is very solid and it is hard to score aginst. Florida is going to have to play very good from the start and stay strong. The second one is tied in with the first. Florida needs to mix it up on offense. We need to see everything. Actually use the running back, use more play action, get tebow in for something else besides running the ball, just really mix it up on offense. Make OU play the whole field. OU has a great defense but it lacks the speed of Floridas. That is the weak spot that OU has and florida is going to have to hit it hard. One more thing, if florida can get ahead buy two posessions then that will be great. You've got to think, other than the michigan game, OU hasnt really had any 4th quarter nail biters. Playing with a deficit to thier opponet is something there not use to. Florida is used to the pressure and tension playing good teams has with it. So having a solid lead will be a huge advantage over OU. Its always an advantage but its espically big in this game.

yea, OSU might panic a lil bit if they get down. the Gators had like 5 or 6 games where it was close and a few where they were down.

Everyone knows the bcs ranking system blows, so I try as hard as I can, not to daily bemoan the fact that Michigan would have been a far stronger opponent than Florida in a rematch that almost was unnecessary since O.S.U narrowly escaped defeat in they're own house. I wonder what the score would have been in Ann Arbor? Never the less the coaches have decided we would all prefer to watch the #2 and #3 teams or is it the the #2 and #2 teams, play for the fictional #1 championship game. I hope Florida beats O.S.U. but not due to a bad call by the officials like the bad call that allowed O.S.U. a second chance to win they're last championship, doe's anybody else remember the imaginary pass interference that cost Miami the championship that year  >:( ooos furrabba......ahhhh. Unfortunately a playoff system would be nearly as unfair considering the time restraints in college.

of course we remember,,,,nasty and you know that Miami fans will be rooting for UF for payback.

I would put away the "annointing oils" as Parcells would say when it comes to Tressel. When you only have to coach your team through two games against ranked teams, that is no great feat! Its easy to look like a stellar team when you play a bunch of nobodys . I love how  OSU fans are talking like they won it already. Thats just the way I like it , keep over looking the Gators.

I am more than aware of his accomplishments in the pee-wee leagues of Div. 2 football (YOUNGSTOWN STATE)and his winning a championship on a crap call. It still doesnt mean that there schedule was any better than pathetic , Spin it any way you want , FSU did the same thing getting in that basketball conference and playing a bunch of nobodys, beating there chests and saying how superior they where cause they went undeafeted, WOW. Thats hard to beat a bunch of perennial door mats for teams. Your right I better look again.

Crap call? I think that call was quite Just! Even if there schedule was as pathetic as you may think. They played damn good and they deserve to be there. As well as Florida deserves it. That's why it will be a great game. I personally have not overlooked the Gators. I've watched them all season and I know how they play..... Pretty good. I'm just a much bigger OSU fan.

That was the worst call in a national championship game in the history of college football!  Miami shouldn't have put themselves in the position to lose the game on one bad call though!  I thought Ohio State was the lesser team but was extremely well coached.  My hats off to Tressel for a job well done.  Wish Miami could get him.

Well I've watched the video a few times and it sure looked clear to me but maybe the video was altered it was online..?

I've got 3 words for OSU and their coach: USC vs UCLA. If they even overlook Florida for 5 seconds then they will have a very rude awakening. Just ask USC. And about OSU sceduel, they only really need to show up for a few games. The rest the second string practice squad could beat. But they can only play the one their given so its kinda a doubble edged sword. Oh, guys, I dont want this post to be a bunch of trash talking and name calling. If you have an intellengent post about why somebody is going to win or a funny pic then go ahead. But this is not a trash talk fest. So please dont make it one.

bah, of top 25 teams they played #19 Texas and #3 Michigan at home. That sure is a tough schedule, i can't think of any other team in America that could manage to make it though that schedule.

I like any team that can beat the gators.............or seminoles...........go OHIO.

Ohio St. is already the National Champs for all intents and purposes.

At the end of the season, they were udefeated. No other team can say the same.

And since there is no play off system, there is no reason to change that fact.


Now, as for the "National Championship Game", Ohio St is gonna smoke the Gators.

Oh pardone!  I beg to differ with you oh swami!  Boise State is undefeated and using your skewed logic, deserves to be at least co-champion.  When the game is done Ohio State is going to be wondering where Percy Harvin was hiding during recruitment.  The freshmen snatches the meat off their sandwich.

Hey they still taste like chicken but unfortunately the buckeyes left their nuts in Ohio. I'm still a buckeye fan...? But man I think Tressel replaced the team with Bowling green or something! And he replaced Troy Smith with his Grandma. The way Ohio played the gators deserved every bit of that win! They Played great!

SEC football will make other conferences look like little league. Is there any doubt  how really weak the Big 10 actually is!!!! their top two teams where takin aprt in bowl games.   CAN YOU SAY     OVER-RATED!!!
