We were at Eureka dam on saturday. There was a black jeep rubicon on a trailer on the east side of the parking area. Miamicrawlers clan shows up and starts tearing apart the front axle of the jeep. We come back from riding and they left all there trash strewn around the space that they were parked. Bunch of scumbags! They left a can of break cleaner, 1 half filled 90W bottle, one 90w bottle empty, lots of greasy rags, silicone sealer package, etc. you would think a group like this would respect others riding areas. I guess not. Anyways, I have pictures of this horrific event coming later this evening.   

Go to their Web Page and leave a comment for them on their guestbook page. Let them know that the rest of us don't appreciate a bunch of idiot dirt bags ruining it for the rest of us.

I  ride  there  all  the  time  and  am  sick  of  crap  like  that !  I  got  the  tag  of  one  local  jerk  dumping  trash  and  it  cost  him  $500.  bucks !  If  people  keep  that  sh!t  up  it  will  end  up  fenced  off  soon.  Thats  the  only  place  you  can  night  ride  left  out  there !

The guy had a new Dodge 2500 4 door 2WD silver with the crappy hemi. Pulling a black dual axle trailer with 2 fold up ramps. Had a black Rubicon on it lifted with SSR's, black steel wheels, warn manual locking hub conversion, heavy duty tie rod that was silver did not get close enough to see if it was aluminum or painted but to me it looked like 1.25" O.D. steel painted, with an OX locker in the front. They must have been working on the front diff I think. Was rolling with a guy in a jacked up 4 door orange nissan with 1 ton gear and an exo. There was a couple other guys one was a black Toy TRD, A yellow jeep not sure if it was with them but they were taking poser pics on the hills. anyway I thought they would be cool as they had nice rides but to just throw your garbage out like that was not cool. But hey there is a new sheriff in town up there and he won't forget.

send the trash to me, I want to personally deliver it to them...

the worst part was one of those 90w cans was half full. my brother ran it over and it spit juice all over my buddy Daves front wheel. That stuff stinks real bad! >:( 

agreed...they're everywhere, not just south florida...i doubt those couches and refrigerators i've seen in the forest came from sfl...that's locals

Most of these folks have a very urban mentality ,some enjoy ridin their toys but dont care for the woods or swamps they visit . I seen folks bring all types of trash to a remote area for camping , wood pallets full of nails to burn  in the path you drive just to get a $200 tire full of nails .
Total scum .

Let's not forget there is trash all over that place let's all be better people and pick up what you can next time out.

I think the moderator from Miami Crawlers has a point. (As well as getting the point, due to our posts on their website)

It's probably equally wrong of us to make disparaging remarks about race, and ethnic background based on the choices of a few to dump garbage in the NATIONAL forest.

Just because a couple of people from that group acted irresponsibly, doesn't mean the entire group should be blamed for it.

As off roaders we need to stick together, support each other, as well as represent our sport and our website in a respectful and somewhat classy way.

They definitely got the point over there, and the moderator states he will speak to the group who left the trash.

As mad as it makes me that they left the trash, it doesn't give me a rigth to go off point, and bad mouth people who had nothing to do with the incident.

Maybe we should make peace, offer a truce, and think not only before we speak, but while we're speaking and after as well.

But, here is a reply from there guestbook from one of the guys that was there and he seems to be saying that we set them up. They almost 99% are denying they did this. Here is his reply:

It is pretty obvious that this has become a matter of envy and racism. It is sad to realize that so many fellow off-roaders lack of good manners and education. We are a respectable and decent organization, and we will definitely not allow profanity in any of the postings.

It seems that the goal of many of you is destroying our club's reputation instead of really finding a solution to the matter.

I'm the president of the club, and I was present at that trail ride. As far as I'm concerned, no trash was left behind. I personally, among other members, always carry trash bags in my truck where we put all the trash. However, if you guys are certain that trash was left, it was definitely left unintentionally.

If the person that claimed seeing us leaving the trash were really a man, he would have told us at the moment, in person, or he would have contacted me privately regarding this matter. It seems to me that because of racism, envy or any other reason, he had the desire of creating and spreading this rumor.

We have been traveling for years to Ocala, and many other places nationwide without any problems of this type whatsoever. It really saddens me to see this kind of attitude and comments from fellow off-roaders, and even people calling themselves "friends of some of the members". It should be a shame for all of you to express yourselves in such low profile manner.

To everybody, just remember to analyze the person that the rumor started from, and then decide for yourselves...

What makes me crazy is when big bad fourwheelers dudes with built up, expensive, tricked out to the max rigs, come up to a place out of their town and think they freakin own the place! They seemed to be arrogant and spoiled brats to me! you know the type. Mommas boys that never had to work for anything. I may be mistaken about this , and if I am I apologize, but there alot of punks like this. They think they own the world and thier poop don't stink.  >:(

I did go back and post on their guest book again, basically stating that this should not be about race.  But did point out that the "pigs" that did this is riding around with the miamicrawlers logo on their truck, which in turn if I where the miamicrawlers I would find out who is the pig amoung their group.....

This  has  been  an  ongoing  problem  we  have  had  in  Eureka  up  in  the  parking  area  for  sometime  now.  I  myself  saw  a  local  guy  drive  down  the  hill  with  about  10  white  garbage  bags  in  his  truck  and  drive  out  empty.  I  went  down  and  opened  the  bags  and  found  an  address  on  a  letter.  Long  story  short  it  cost  the  guy  $500.  bucks  and  a  years  probation !  Anytime  I  see  someone  drop  trash  I  ask  them  to  pick  it  up  and  remind  them  how  we  could  lose  our  riding  place  out  there.  The  same  can  happen  for  these  fellows  from  the  4x4  club !  If  it  was  witnessed  and  you  want  to  push  it  just  let  me  know  and  it  WILL  happen !  Once  again  if  anyone  would  like  to  have  a  clean-up  ride  out  there  Im  in !  I  only  live  25  miles  from  there  and  I  dont  think  it  would  take  more  than  a  couple  of  hours. ;)

On tuesdays,thursdays, and saturdays, there is a dumpster available in the area. It is about 7 miles north of the eureka dam road off the same road. It is for the residents that live down there but I would think they would take it.

Or we could just dump it in front of the facility.  ;D

I know some of these guys, and they are a great group...  I know they dont go somewhere to leave trash, if it was left i am sure it was an accident.  I 'm sure they have picked up other peoples trash and dont go online and try to badmouth them and discriminate...

so everyone pull your panties out of your azzes....

 First of all weather or not you know these guys has nothing to do with the situation at hand. It is people like that, that eventually get us kicked out of places to ride. Leaving a bag of garbage is one thing, but leaving trash all over the ground & in the trees that is also a harm to the environment is another thing. I am not only a ATV'er but I am also an active member of local conservation groups in my area who have done numerous cleanups in JW Corbett & in Holeylands and I can't tell you how SICK & TIRED of cleaning up after everyone else I truly am, espically other ATV'ers that should be very aware of the fact that there aren't very many places left to ride.

HAVE A LITTLE Freakin RESPECT !

Leaving a few pooptickets on the ground is an accident. I ranger would not give you a ticket for leaving a few paper napkins on the ground. But leaving this biohazardous mess surely would levy a nice fine. These guys are adults and if it was an accident it still was inexcusable. There were like 10 of them there with 4 or 5 different vehicles. The garbage was thrown off the trailer onto the ground. What would the "red alert" needed to pick up this mess? Maybe next time their group leader should make them rope the garbage around there necks so as not to forget it. That is how you train a dog and it works! Some poor defenseless cub bear probably came by with his mom and started drinking that 90w. Either way there is no excuse for such blatant littering! Don't try to make up excuses for your friends.

Agreed, this assumption that this was some type of accident is bs.  And it is also not say that all of them are that way.  They just needed to be made aware of the situation, it would be same thing if one of use went somewhere with "atvflorida.com" pasted to our trucks and then trashed the place, don't think for a minute it would be any different.  The only difference for the fact, we would not defend the jacka$$, we take 'em out to the woods w/his truck and make him load all his crap up.  More than likely be banned from this site.  When you ride around w/ a logo such as this, then it does reflect the group as a whole.  And yes it is sad.  But their response should of been that they were sorry and that they would find out who did it.  Not say it was a race thing or a set up or an accident... that's b/s.  They should be trying to do what we are, schedule a clean-up or something.  

Just as Ford4X4 pointed out, it actually gives us all a bad name and the most atver's are just sick and tired of such disrespect!!!!

Hate to disagree, but places being trashed all over the place.  Not just saying this is the only incident, know it is everywhere and it has to STOP.  More attention s/b made evidently that you DO NOT TRASH THE PLACES that you RIDE!!! Furthermore, it seems to me at a time when we are losing more and more places to ride, the more and more places are to be trashed.  Especially w/enviromental hazards, yea thats all we need, give them more reason to keep us out.

Have you actually given up a full weekend of YOUR personal TIME to clean up after people who litter in WMA's or clean up litter off the side of the road ??? The answer to that would be probably not.... I, along with many others, am sick of cleaning up after ADULTS that think it's ok to litter where ever they please. If things like this keep happening you can bet your a$$ that there won't be anywhere to ride... FWC is sick of seeing the trash in their WMA's, FSCA & ERDHA clean it up as a courtesy to them, NOT to do it for all the LAZYA$$ES out there... Act like an adult & clean up after yourself....

Other ATV'ers are complaining that there is no where to ride.... I can guarentee that one of the reasons we have so few places to ride is because of A$$HOLES that don't want to pick up after themselves.... Your mother doesn't ride with you to clean up after you, DO IT YOURSELF !

I always pick up after myself and I condemn anyone who doesn't or thinks they shouldn't have to. However, it is good to see some of the responses on this post. I know exactly who never to have a conversation with, about anything. You all better know how to differentiate between races and color, real soon or I can guarantee that you will have a big surprise one day (you know who you are).

SFL has an enormous mulitcultural population of many races. I could give a rat's arse what race these pigs are. It ain't about race, it's about culture or lack thereof. If you live down here and ride in all of the legal and illegal riding spots, it's clear that far more trash is illegally-dumped down here than in ONF. The West Miami riding areas, Miami area beaches and Biscayne Bay islands are the best examples of this illegal dumping. And, these same slobs don't limit their careless dumping to our beaches and riding areas. I work in a hospital where trash is dumped right next to the trash cans because these pigs are too lazy to step on the pedal to lift the lid(so they can throw the trash INTO the cans). No exaggeration, it occurs every day.

Wow!!! I have read every post on this topic and I'm amazed at how this issue has been blown out of proportion and nothing has been done to solve the real problem. It appears to me that your intentions were to teach the club a lesson. If this is the case then an e-mail should have been written to the club with the pictures attached. This would have allowed the club to deal with the issue privately and fix the problem. By publicly humiliating the group and making racist comments you already put them in a position to defend themselves and not solve the problem. Also by making these rude and childish comments you humiliate the entire off road community, atvr's and trucks alike. As participants in the off road community we should stick together and not make stupid comments about each others life styles. I live in south florida and its beautiful down here, not trashed like someone mentioned earlier. It seems like most of the comments made on this page were made by people who are very narrow minded, and not looking at the big picture. Ocala is not just one big beautiful National Forest, it has its slums and nice areas just like every other city in the world. As far as quality of people, low lives can be found anywhere, not just South Florida. In the end this whole issue was about some trash left behind in a parking area of a park, doesn't this seem a bit much. I think it should have been picked up by whoever took the pictures, like I'm sure the MiamiCrawlers would have done for the next guy. If you want to check the quality of people that are members of the group then invite them to the trail clean up that is being scheduled. If they really are the scum bags you guys make them out to be they won't show, but if they do then you will know who the scum bags are!!!

Look Pepito, If you think this issue got blown out of proportion then you need to look in your own backyard. The main issue is the throwing out of petroleum based products in the forest that DO NOT desolve naturally. The people that did this or were with them and let it happen are the real scumbags. The other thing that really pi$$ed everyone over here off is the downplaying or denying of the act. For the moderator of that site to actually suggest that it may have not been done by one of their members is an insult to everyones intelligance. One of their members admits to working on his differential in the exact spot where empty bottles of "GEAR OIL" not motor oil were left along with greasy rags. You have a better chance of winning the lottery then there is of this being a coincidence. Then to top it off they question the manhood of our member for not approaching the idiots that left the trash. I question the manhood of all the members of that site that were with the guy that left the trash! Why didn't one of them step up and tell the rest of the idiots to pick up the trash? I wont label the entire association as scumbags but this incident sure puts a black eye on it. Stop denying it happened and acting like it was no big deal and man up,apologize and move on. By not doing so it only makes it look like it's a classless organization.Oh yeah,and stop using the race card to hide behind this lowlife act. We have many members here that are from latin decent and most are from Miami,Hialeah,Homested and their some of the best most genuine people you'll ever meet . We welcome them with open arms and enjoy riding with them so don't turn this into a prejudice thing. For the founder or Moderator of that site to even suggest that it didn't happen or even that it was no big deal is a slap in the face. He should have apologized for his members actions and assured everyone that he would take the appropriate measures to help insure that this would not happen again. What he did instead was to try and defend the parties responsible which in my book makes him look like an a$$. MIAMICRAWLERS " own up to the mistake and take responsibility for your actions in order to give your club some credibility or suffer the negative publicity and confirm what people assume about your organization".

Bottom Line: Who cares if they're Cuban, Black, White, Puerto Rican, Italian, etc. A group of people was witnessed dumping trash and oil on the ground. It's a fact, not a debate. People saw it happen and took pictures of it. The solution is simple: Bring your a$$es back up here and clean it up. 

Oh, and for once, can we leave the race card out of a discussion? Everbody knows the image that the word "Miami" brings to peoples minds. It's not their large Irish or Dutch population I can assure you. Just like the thoughts people have when "Harlem" is mentioned. If some people on here have views that are a little more "askew" than others, who really cares?

I had to read their guest book again to see where these "racist remarks" were made, okay I said "hola coma esta" which mean "hello are you" - ????? And there was another comment about Miami - which to me is not racist, hell I was born in raised in Miami - do I feel insulted - no. 

If you read the quest book, it clear that they started to defend themselves that we were pointing them out due to race. 

Therefore THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO ABOUT RACE!!!!!!  And you know what, we know that, if they want to hang on to that race card, then so be it.

The guy who was there did apologize on their guest book, but insist it was an accident and that he did clean up.  I wish there was someway we could post those pic's (on their guest book) cause anyone can see that it was not accident, but I don't expect anyone to really own up to the fact that they did that on purpose.

As for us going on their guest book and signing, was it wrong, NO.  Why it called him out to own up for what he did. 

It is easy for some to say lets move on, and not a big deal, but as for the person who got his bike trashed by their oil, it ain't so easy to move on.  And for us who can't stand to see our places trashed, and this is really bad, can't move on when you read these post and see people say, "Come on you are make this a bigger deal than it is" That really pisses us off. 

And stop with the race thing that is just friggin stupid and I think everyone is sick of the race card!!!  Of for those out there who think when we type (them/they) we are implying race - give me a break.  You are the one making it a race issue, so you have been called out on this too.

Yah and I could mail them some flowers too. You were not there. I posted the pics so everyone could see what dirtbags they were. There are no excuses for them. As for the other stuff, I did not print it so it has nothing to do with me. And another piece of usefull info for you, we were riding our atvs when this went down. I don't usually carry 2 doulble ply garbage bags so I can pick up 15 oz. of 90w oil while riding my atv. If I would have done what you say, it would have been more of a waste of my time than your last post. If would not have any effect on them leaving trash again. Atleast this time I think they got the message. Maybe not in the nicest way or most cordial but the message was sent. I don't like litterers! They got what they deserved. Why don't you go down to there next meeting and deliver them a cake for their outstanding community representation.

 Don  if  we  can  set  up  a  clean  up  ride  with  people  that  will  help  that  would  be  great.  Anybody  want  to  set  a  date ?  As  for  big-daddy , pay  him  no  mind.  Hes  old  and  somewhat  retarded.  And  yes  fastrnrik , I  will  be  riding  in  those  shorts.  I  just  stuff  my  onions  in  a  zip-lock  to  keep  the  sand  off  them. ;)

Sounds good. Did you want to include the crawlers? Wonder what there schedule is? Might be a month before I am back up there. my brother and boys will be up there next weekend I think. I am sure he would be willing to help out.

my opinion is we invite the crawlers...put this behind us, make some new friends, and make another step in the direction of uniting all off-roaders.  I would just put up a new topic "Eureka Clean Up Ride", and see how people respond...once we get some responses we can think about a date....makes sense to me anyway.
