My 500R dirt/sand drag racer

85 CR500 dirtbike converted into a trike. 250R front end, 250R seat. Custom Laeger +8 over stock 250R length swingarm to fit the CR500 frame. The subframe is an aluminum one made out of 3/4 square tubing that I made and TIG welded myself. The seat doesn't have any latching system, it just bolts right down to it. The end of the head pipe was cut and re-welded to angle it in towards the middle of the frame so I could center mount the silencer. Its crooked right now, I've gotta work on my bracket a little bit more to level it up. It turns those tires pretty good, but I need to gear it down a little bit. It has a 15 tooth sprocket on the front right now. I'm gonna be putting on a 12 and getting my topend ported by FTZ racing. Should be giving most of those banshee guys a run for their money then

Thanks for all the comments guys. I've had alot of fun building it and riding it. Its still far from done though, alot of things I still want to do it. 

As for selling it...not particularly interested in selling it but hey everything has its price

LMAO...you guys are crazy.  Chris I dunno If I'm gonna go to hazlehurst or not this month. I really need to get some pro wedges ordered before I go back up there in that clay. I'm thinkin I might skip this month and try to save up and get a few things for my motor. Thinkin a port job, intake, and a digital ignition. Maybe the ignition will make the pos a little easier to crank  :cursing.gif

Hahaha...I know. I've heard of that happening to guys before. I've had my foot slip off once and go into the ground when I had all my force on it and man I thought it was broke then but I guess I just bruised the heck out of it. I'll get all the kinks worked out of it soon I think.
