'01 80cc raptor running eratticly??

 rich, idols high then  idols low,  real erratic idol & air mixture doesn't seem to help that much  it almost acts like the idol circuit is blocked & it's trying to run off of the main???

all I've heard is they have valve problems (really picky on clearances)

Ive:
checked valve clearance,
cleaned the carb. didn't help replaced carb.
pulled head checked valves, looked bad , new valves & job
low hrs. new valves, carb. & no vac. leaks ... still no better...
any ideas?

Check the intake gaskets to make sure you don't have an air leak. thats what it sounds like to me.

check that...,yeah thats what it acts like ( one second )but ( the next second)it's running rich
