i've heard the 03 z400 frame was weak, but just how weak is it? i plan on going to the track alot more often now, and i would like it if my frame didnt snap on me after hitting a bump, so do you think i shoud get a gusset kit RIGTH away, or should i be good for a while?

I am not sure but i always say "Better safe than sorry." I am sure it would be cheaper to get the gussets now, rather than to fix the frame and get the gussets added later.

Gusset kits (do it yourself) are $100 at Rath Racing, $175 at LoneStar.  Seems the cost varies substantially depending on who makes them.  I'm fairly certain I've seen them for the yfz for less than $100??
