Just informing everyone that Progressive Insurance Chairman Peter Lewis Gives $8.5 Million To ACLU.  Some members may have their bikes insured by Progressive and may want to be aware of this.

the ACLU uses gifts like this from Chairman Lewis to:

Sue states to force them to legalize homosexual marriage

Force libraries to remove porn filters from their computers

Sue the Boy Scouts to force them to accept homosexuals as scout leaders

Help legalize child pornography

Legalize live sex acts in bars in Oregon

Protect the North American Man Boy Love Association whose motto is "sex by eight or it is too late"

Censor student led prayer at graduation

Remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance

Remove "In God We Trust" on our currency

Some people may not care what is being done here, but just in case you do, here is a petition if you have issues with what is being done here:

Dang we give them a nice chunk of cash every year. We have both our Vinsons, Our Boat, My Fiancees Quad(when she gets it Jan 1st.) and Josh's Truck all with Progressive.

another reason for me not to like them.

Love my Geico.

I don't think I could beat paying $420 a year for my truck.

That info came out on one of the Christian based web sites. The ACLU in the begnning had a good purpose, but like alot of organizations, they have gone over the top with their agenda's.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Happy Birthday Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, maybe your church will insure you! And, for those who are truly concerned, is there some other link or published reference to back up those contentions about the ACLU?  After all, you're asking folks to believe that a major insurance firm is risking profits to sponsor child porn, etc.. I believe Target is also being criticized for who they allegedly do and don't contribute to. But, even if half of the allegations are factual, how many people are willing to pay more for their services/goods by shopping elsewhere?

This donation by the progressive Chairman Lewis is right from the ACLU website:

http://www.aclu.org/about/support/13308prs20030115.html

The ACLU is all about removing everything from public life that has anything to do with people's freedom of religion.  Our constitution is supposed to protect us from this, but we don't use it anymore.  Grin  Why is everyone afraid to say "Merry Christmas" any more?  The ACLU

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

keep in mind, the donation WASNT made by Progressive, so progressive DOESNT support the ACLU  but an employee of does... he uses his own money in his own ways. That 8mil is a drop in the bucket compared to his stock trading values each year.
progressive is a public traded company it isnt owned by one person or a group. Thats like someone saying "Im never going to Walmart because the door greater doesnt donate to the red cross".. I work for progressive and our work place is COVERED in Christmas stuff and we have Christmas partys and exchanges.. dont let one persons "different" ideas hurt the 35,000 people that it employs..
