Not sure if i'm going to this one but i'll either be at the florida one, Georgia or North Carolina (Steele Creek) GNCC.

Yeah that was our z400 but ybnormal ended up doing his laps on the cannondale and did Very good in making up lost time. We didn't give it a full effort though to get 1st back cause Paul paid me 500 bucks to let his "name" win. Oops I wasn't supposed to say anything!  Grin Seriously though you had some good lap times. Congrats. Look forward to the next one. What's the date Paul?

Mike? Didnt know this was you.lol
4  General / Racing Scene / Re: 10 hour endurance race on: February 16, 2009, 12:41:45 PM
What team were you on? What bikes were you riding? I was there on Team Motoplex, I was the one Red Honda with the metal Mulisha grafics.

Jacob Rides a Poopalaris (he rides it well though  Grin). They were on the team with DaleQuad, Mike H (Duroc) and YbNormal. Due to some mechanical issues (suprisingly not from the Poopalaris) I think they came third.

Good job too everyone.

Thanks paul!

ya i ride a polaris and there as a canondale 432, honda 400, and a z400 on the team.

Thanks!

Our team was first then one of our teammates brokedown by the time he came back we were 1 + hours and 2 laps behind. we came back to get third and only 30 minutes and 1 lap behind.

10  General / Racing Scene / Re: 10 hour endurance race on: November 29, 2008, 11:55:17 AM
please post the hours of the races as soon as possible so that way i can buy some extra lights if some of it is going to be in the night. I would like to see a 50/50 split between night and day.

Jacob, I don't think we will run it at night. It would be really cool, but unfair on the dirt bikes.

Let's shoot for a daytime one in Feb. If it's successful we could go for a all-nighter later in the year.

sounds good just keep us posted on any details. Thanks

racing in the night sounds sweet, how would you score it to make it fair for those solo racers racing against the teams?

edit: you should find out the mileage you would want so it could be something like the Motoplex 500 or something.. sounds cool.
13  General / Racing Scene / Re: 10 hour endurance race on: November 27, 2008, 07:34:56 PM
i would go.

16  General / Open Discussion / Re: which to buy ...pred 500 vs yfz 450 on: October 26, 2008, 08:45:17 PM
IMO the Preditor isn't even in the same class as any 450. If it was you would see it at the races. You see maybe 1 or 2 at the national events and it isn't being ridden by a pro.

I see, i respect your opinion.

take care
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: which to buy ...pred 500 vs yfz 450 on: October 26, 2008, 01:13:18 PM
Go withn the 450. Take a look around, how many YFZs do you see over Preditors. That right there should tell you something.

true but its mostly because to many people are"monkey see monkey do kinda people" i have a pred and i can pull on a 450 easy unless they have engine modifications, but back to the point if you have already owned a predator and your thinkibng about switching do it, try something new. if you ask a question like that everybody has there own opinion and most likely there going to say that the brand of quad they have is the best.
18  General / Racing Scene / Re: Check it out on: October 21, 2008, 10:46:06 PM
Thanks!! most people avoided them a racer actually was the one who picked them up, she saved them.

19  General / Racing Scene / Check it out on: October 21, 2008, 06:25:51 PM

If you race FTR you may remember running these fenders over at Chipley, they were pretty trashed but i thought i would try to salvage them, so i cut the fenders down and drilled some holes under the noise piece and some other places to run zip ties through for some reinforcement(they are all hidden). i did this with a dull hand saw and a box cutter and a little help from a dremel but that was a little to powerful for cutting plastic in my opinion.

tell me if you like it.

Thanks

woooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooo Drive Yup!
21  General / Racing Scene / Re: ims quick fill gas systems on: September 17, 2008, 11:25:13 PM
Not at the moment but I will be back soon on a quad I promise!!! I just putt around on a dirtbike a little now.

thats cool, well hopefully you'll be back at it soon. thanks for the help.
22  General / Racing Scene / Re: ims quick fill gas systems on: September 17, 2008, 05:52:06 PM
Like Jen said, it's about $700 for all that.
Jacob, you can do a lot with $700bucks and don't need that system. I know it looks really cool and all, but it's not worth it. Just having the larger tank will be enough. I think they are 4.1 gal
It's your money, I know, but you'll spend that in fuel getting to and from the events this season.

ya i know, im not going to get it, im either gonna get a larger tank or this acerbis refueler thats $120, whether i get the tank or acerbis fueler i think either one will work out great. cant wait for chipley and the rest of the races too come.

thanks brian!!

pledger you still race?
23  General / Racing Scene / Re: ims quick fill gas systems on: September 17, 2008, 03:58:50 PM
I have run a full GNCC race at skull lake and still had fuel left over. I have had the acerbis and the IMS on a yfz450 and like the acerbis the best, but im not a fast young rider like you im old and washed up.

how big was your stock tank mine is a 3.4 gallon or something like that.
24  General / Racing Scene / Re: ims quick fill gas systems on: September 17, 2008, 02:08:36 PM
Dude! I was going to get all that and Pledger talked sense into me. Take some good passed on advice, you'll never need it. Just get the oversized tank and use the regular screw cap.

NEVER!!!! i dont know i got some pretty big plans  : Cool, what size did you get 4 gal or what i thought 4 gal was as big as they got and what brand?

25  General / Racing Scene / Re: ims quick fill gas systems on: September 16, 2008, 07:46:12 PM
If money is no problem I say go for it. But I always ran an oversize acerbis tank and never had to refuel during a race..

its not the money its just im not going to spend $700 when i can get another brand for 1/2 to a quarter as much, eventually a bigger tank will come too and im sure ill eventually be running that ims system. i have my eyes on a acerbis.
