Alright, it's time to get serious here. I posted something to this effect on another post but I can't find it so I'll repeat it here. When this guys plight was first posted it was posted about a guy from some other site. I was just being a smart ass and it was blown way out of porportion. Then the next thing I know he shows up on this site with hurt felings. I have nothing against this guy. Help who you want, I help plenty of people.

This pertains to all you who are patting yourselves on the back right now because you posted that you "wish you could help". Not one of you have stepped up with what the guy needs. You talk a good game but what are you really doing to help. You say I'm insensitive and a jerk-off but atleast I really help people. I help people who are hungry. People who are cold. People who really are in need. This sport is a luxary not a right or a need. Therefore, I can find lots of other people to feel sorry for.

You get the stickers at the same office where you register all your vehicles. I just registered a new quad today and when she printed out the title sticker I asked her to print one out for each of my other two bikes. $4.50 each.

General / Open Discussion / My son's first time at croom

I'm taking my wife and and my 5 year old son to croom this weekend and it will be their first time riding there. We're only going for the day and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good section to park ride out there that would be good for a 5 year old that is just starting out. I know about the kids track by the camp ground But I want to be able to ride with him(on separate bikes) without any big hills or blind trails. Any input would be helpful.

So you're telling me that if I join the rainbows, I can live naked, unshaven and filthy, with no money, in the middle of nowhere, and dance with stinky hairy drugged out naked Harrikrishnas to the beat of a homemade drum...... Does the drum have to be home made?

Could you imagine how much crap this kid would have stirred up if he had hit the woman and 20 month old baby on the bicycle!!
On the other hand, If the local government would stop closing down all the riding spots maybe this wouldn't happen so much. I live in Sarasota County and now that North Port is closed again I've got a two hour drive in either direction to ride my $6000 paper weight.

SARASOTA COUNTY -- A man remained in critical condition Monday after being injured in an ATV crash Sunday afternoon.
Dustin Dawn, 21, was thrown from his ATV when he collided with an ATV driven by 20-year-old Gregory Klein, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on 10th Street near Fruitville Park.
Dawn was flown by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where he remained in critical condition on Monday afternoon. Klein was taken to Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, where he was treated for minor injuries.
The FHP has charged Klein with operating an ATV on the roadway. No charges have been filed against Dawn.
Jamie Brennan, who lives in the neighborhood and saw the accident happen, said ATVs, motorcycles and scooters frequently race down 10th Street on weekend afternoons. She said neighbors have complained to the authorities and have asked for speed bumps on the street.
Brennan was riding a bicycle Sunday afternoon with her husband and 20-month-old daughter when she witnessed the accident. She said neither driver wore a helmet.
"When I saw them (Sunday) they didn't seem like they were racing, but right after they passed us they sped up," Brennan said.
"I feel so bad for them, but it's frustrating because they are endangering everybody out there," she said.

I have a 2001 warrior. It's a great bike. I've never had any mechanical problems with it. I think the size of the rider makes a difference with this bike. I'm 6 foot 1 and 225lbs. and fit well on the warrior. I rode a friends 300 ex and I felt like a fat man in a little coat.
