1  General / Open Discussion / Re: Here is my letter I sent to my commissioners on: October 01, 2006, 12:16:59 AM
Very Good Yunt2ride

I called the Bradford County sherrif dept today and ask about it over here and was told that the law will pass for Bradford County. It has not been opt out here. YET!

I agree with you. With all the money that is spent out on ATV's why can't the county's get together and find some land to make a park for ATV's. They could have like three or four county's combine together and build a place to ride for all the county's in each area.

Thanks for your letter and also thanks for posting the link to the law that was passed. I think it would be a good idea to have a copy on you cuz I know that their will be a few to give us a hassel.

One thing that I worry about is the ones that rip up and down the roads to make the county's go for the opt out.

I think I'll donate some time to be an ATV Police.

Thanks again
Donnie

5  General / Open Discussion / New Federal Guidelines on: May 17, 2006, 10:30:19 PM
New Federal Guidelines

Reacting to Federal guidelines, the State of Florida, which has
been highlighted as a role model for student testing by the Bush
Administration's Dept. of Education, has redesigned and just released a new
comprehensive test to be given to all students beginning in the spring of
the 2006-2007 school year.

In response to President Bush's Federal No Child Left Behind Act,
students will have to pass it to be promoted to the next grade level. In
the hopes that it will be uniformly adopted by all the states, it will
be called the Federal Arithmetic and Reading Test or (FART).  All
students who cannot pass a FART in the second grade will be retested in
grades 3, 4, and 5 until such a time as they are capable of achieving a
FART score of 80%. If a student does not successfully FART by grade 5,
that student shall be placed in a separate English program, the Special
Mastery Elective for Learning Language (SMELL).  If with this increased
SMELL program the student cannot pass the required FART test, he or she
can graduate to middle school by taking a one-semester course in
Comprehensive Reading and Arithmetic Preparation (CRAP).  If by age fourteen,
the student cannot FART, SMELL, or CRAP, he will earn his promotion in
an intensive one-week seminar. This is the Preparatory Reading for
Unprepared Nationally Exempted Students (PRUNES).  It is the opinion of the
Florida Department of Public Instruction (DPI) that an intensive week
of PRUNES will enable any student to FART, SMELL, or CRAP.  This revised
provision of the student-testing component of House Bill 110 should
help clear the air.  This is part of the: "No School Left Standing Act".

10  General / Open Discussion / Re: Gain Respect or Lose Friends on: February 10, 2006, 12:48:49 AM
I Pledge.

I love going to football games and saying the pledge with all the Amerians that also go. I love hearing the Star Spangled Banner and hearing a prayer befor the game.

I hate seeing so many people sitting down while the Pledge is being said and the Star Spangled Banner is being sang and most of all while prayer is be said. Kids and adults run their mouth cut up and bother others around them. That burns me up!

As far as your $.02 cents the only way you have that opinion and aloud to express it is because someone dided so you can have an opinion.

This Country was founded by men and women who beleaved in GOD not a god but GOD!

I'll make this short

You me we all have opinions and we can express our thoughts because someone died and fought and are still fighting for US right now.

We loose our riding spots because we can't get together and go ( not email not write not call ) but go face to face and tell our opinions to the ones who have the means of making it happen for us.

If I called you up on the phone as said I was going to kick your backside you might get upset but no action. If I come to you face to face and said that I was going to kick your backside their would be action.

The Flag stands for freedom and men and women are giving their time and their life and leaving their family behind to give us this freedom.

I don't like war but I look at it this way if we don't stand up for our Country we will loose it and you will not have the rights you do now.

SO YES I DO PLEDGE.
I also trust in GOD and when I say that I'm not trying to push my faith on anybody. People on here see something about GOD or Church and they think OH gosh here they go with that church stuff again. what about all the language on here the slang curse words people read that and they could say your pushing them nasty words on us. Well then poeple say if you don't like it don't read it. Well if you don't like hearing about God Church Faith or anything thing of that nature DON"T READ IT go on to something else.

Sorry I didn't make it short I could go on and on.

Think about this

Who founded this Country?
Why was it founded?

GOD BLESS AMERICA
GO TROOPS
LET FREEDOM RING

This was my opinion and you know the rest of the story
Good Day.

12  General / Open Discussion / Re: Osceola Forest Riding on: January 22, 2006, 12:02:15 AM
Hey Magnum,
Thanks for the info. I rode on Monday and didn't see any hunters. We had the area to ourselves. So what you're saying is you rode north of 10 correct?

I have not rode in that area up their but I have found an area xlose to me that is public property that people ride atvs on the weekend. I talked to a Florida game and fish officer and told me the area was open to atvs as long as they were following the rules and staying in the riding areas.
13  General / Where to Ride? / Places to ride in management areas on: January 20, 2006, 11:09:07 PM

On my 04 magnum it done it when I first got it. The took the back hub off and greased the splines in the rear shaft that helped. after a few times in the mud it quit.
18  General / Open Discussion / Re: 2003 Polaris Trail Blazer on: January 02, 2006, 11:50:12 PM
Does it do it at a steady speed?
how about backing up?
and does it do it more when turning?

19  General / Open Discussion / Re: Rain Riders on: December 21, 2005, 10:34:15 PM
i just finished watching ATV Television..pretty boring episode...but does anyone have the rain riders convertible top from the commercial that makes it look like a VW beetle...i wanna see if anyone would actually bu that.    www.rainriders.com :

The Last couple I have seen were reruns. I think they need to come and join the group for a rodman ride instead of showing thoes places hundreds of miles away that some of us just can't make it.

Ocala area go to Ocala Motor Sports and look around they have different makes and more just north of them. I have a Polaris 330 2x4 and a Sportsman 700 4x4 and I love both of em. You can do a lot on a 2x4 and still have fun.

Welcome to the world of ATV.
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: Can a sport rider have fun on a Utility? on: December 18, 2005, 11:58:12 PM
Hey The Utilitys are great fun also. If you can go to tractor supply company they have a throttle extension that you can adjust and use the palm of you hand works great and you don't need as much force to push it to the limit.
