This was one of the responses I have received back so far! What a JOKE! Below is a response to the recent comments I received from you: Dear Mr. Tucker: Thank you for contacting me regarding the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). I appreciate hearing from you and would like to respond to your concerns. On November 1, 2007, Representative Bobby Rush (D-IL) introduced the CPSC Reform Act (H.R. 4040). Besides increasing funding for the CPSC, this bill strengthens civil penalties for violations of the Consumer Product Safety Act, outlaws children's products containing lead, and makes it illegal for retailers to sell recalled products. Additionally, H.R.. 4040 requires the commission to enforce whistleblower protections for employees of manufacturers, importers and CPSC workers. This measure was passed by the House of Representatives on December 19, 2007, without opposition. On July 31, 2008, the Senate passed H.R. 4040 with my full support by a vote 89 to 3. On August 14, 2008, the President signed this bill into law. I am committed to providing the Consumer Produced Safety Commission with the tools and resources it needs to carry out its vital mission. As we proceed in the 111th Congress, I will be sure to keep your thoughts in mind regarding any additional legislation involving the CPSC. Again, thank you for sharing your views with me. If you have any additional questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me. In addition, for more information about issues and activities important to Florida, please sign up for my weekly newsletter at http://martinez.senate.gov. Sincerely, Mel Martinez United States Senator **Note: PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS E-MAIL. QT314 most of what you say is true. But its not the quads that are causing the main problem there. Its the youngins after dark. I have met with and talked to hunters out there and was told by them they dont mind us riding there. But I was also told by an OWNER that SWIFTMUD was seriously thinking about forcing the landowners to sell. and it wasnt because of the quads. As for the hunting season you are correct. I was told to stay up front during hunting season. Also the feeders have been seen by FWC so tell your buddies to becareful as they are being watched very closely now. I actually ride with one from time to time and I didnt even know he knew about the SPOT until he left a note on my truck one night while he was watching for illegal hunting at feeders. I dont take people there, but the local spots are cool and cops dont say a word as long as they are kept cleaned up. Besides who cares all of our spots will be gone sooner or later. Might as well enjoy them now.

Hunting season is about to kick off soon. From speaking with some of the hunters out there they dont want us SOUTH of the creek till about noon time or so. Also if you see a ATV parked on or off a trail quietly leave that area the way you came in. Best advice during hunting season is to stay up front. Plenty of riding up front. We can get along with them and still be able to ride out there as long as we respect them. Its their land and all they ask is to respect it and them. Pretty easy to some but their will be the few JERKS that will try and ruin it for all of us. Also just some FYI last Saturday night out there PCSO was out on two UTV and two ATV's checking for weapons and underage drinking. I have another spot to ride for fast bikes in Tampa and one in St Pete if anyone would like to stay close to home once in a while. PM me for details and I only will respond to OLD members, no new guys just for the reason of keeping these spots longer.

That light is not a DTC code it is a "your vehicle mileage indiactes it needs service light" Look in your owners manual and it will tell you how to reset it. Most Hondas you hold the reset button for the odometer and cycle the ignition 3 times.

A few of us rode Sunday and it was PERFECT riding conditions. OVERCAST with rain to the EAST, and nice damp dirt all over. NO DUST SO I LOVED IT. I might be back there this weekend. It's not the best spot but it's close to home and good for the girls to learn to ride better.. HEHEHEHE

Was running it at the track and it shut off in a jump. Tried to restart it and it was locked up. I pulled the head off and saw the piston with pieces broken off of it and then pulled the piston out and the rod was split right down the middle. Traxxas said to send it in but you know they will pull the its your fault crap so I will fix it myslef or buy a Picco 26 for it.

i am very sorry to here this happened and glad everyone is ok i know what you went thru a couple months back i had a bad landing on my track in my backyard and got throw off the bike (i live on the canal) and my bike kept going once i fell off splash there she went right in completely under...the bike was ok after a good flush and new liquids but i fractered my knee....point of my story is i went and bought a tether kill switch the next day LOL [/quo Thanks for everyones help that was there and for condolences on here as well. I told her as we were leaving no more riding until BOTH of our Quads have kill tethers on them. It would have never went into the water if the engine was killed. She is OK and helped flush her bike out and all is good except for the hours of cleaning and her wonderful headache from hitting her head on that wonderful hard ground. But headaches beat roadrash any day compared to her spill on her Streetbike(Kawi 636) a couple of years ago. Lesson learned to all BUY A KILL TETHER and for the guys dont make the girls ride beyond their abilities. Well now time for some rest I'm beat but will be back out next weekend for sure...Thanks guys and gals from Suncoast Flatlanders if any of ya are on this board as well. Kevin n Amanda......: )~

As long as you dont block the Pespsi road never a problem. But if you want to say it's illegal then yeah it's illegal don't ride there. More room for me..HEHEHEHE And yes the East end is blocked off. We have 2 spots right there we ride in. Its not all that big but close to home and fun for the day if you dont wanna travel. THERE ARE NOOOOOOO "NO TRESPASSING" signs anywhere. And I have never seen any at all. I have a 4x4 so I pull the trailer into the woods from Fowler and park inside so I dont bother anyone. The property is OWNED by USF for some type of research. I guess seeing how they never bother us they are researching how fast I can ride.. Also I have been pulling the ATV's out of there and a cop was driving down Fowler and didnt say a word to me at all. So technically yes someone other then us owns it but KEEP IT CLEAN!!!! and maybe they will not bother us til its time to build as always. YOU TRASH IT IT WILL GO AWAY....Oh and I guess having one of the riders that rides there date Pepsi's VP helps a little too...
