To switch to 4wd the bike needs to be running and you need to be moving a little bit. On my prarie when I switch from 2wd to 4wd is takes a few seconds and the gears need to turn a little bit for it to engage.

Hi all,
Looking for someone to finish repairing a Kawasaki 400. The cam chain has an issue and it bent the intake valves. Already have the new valves and piston and rings in and jug on the motor. Need someone to finish it for me. I have all the parts but absolutely no time to do it..Looking for someone that has worked on these before so I know it'll be right.
Thanks,
The Toy Doctor gets my recommendation. He ownes a couple of Kawi ATVs, has worked on many of my toys ( ATV, MotorCycle, RV) and is resonably priced. He lives near Dade City and can be reached at 352-584-0959. He does great work.

Quick question though, When I inquired about the M4 I was told that it's illegal to own one. However there is an AR-15 M4 style carbine that they've told me about. Any validity to that? I thought it was legal to own since it was a semi auto rifle.
That is technically correct. The "M4" manufactured by Colt for the military is a select fire weapon (full auto or 3 round burst) and you cannot own with out the proper licensing. You can buy an AR15 (semi-auto only ) in an "M4" configuration. Every thing but the receiver will be the same.

The letered trails are groomed and much better with less whoops. I was there about a month ago and they have done a lot to improve the trails.

What is the price? Since it is only 2 WD it would be of limited use to me. I use my ATV for hunting, pulling a brush mower to maintain trails and a disc for food plots. Can it handle the more strenuous chores around the farm or hunting lease? Also when I am out hunting I don't always have power to recharge.

Some of the local gun stores in my area have been ordering ammo (9mm, .45, .223, & .308 ) by the pallet and can't keep any in stock. That's why I roll my own ammo! Reloading is the way to go.

This is a great story....I hope it is true.
Snopes has this listed as "Undetermined". They are still researching it.
From the personals column of a Savannah, GA local paper
To the Guy Who Mugged Me (Downtown, Savannah, Ga.):
I was the guy with the black Burberry jacket that you demanded I hand over shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I hope you somehow come across this message. I'd like to apologize.
I didn't expect you to cr@p your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. Truth is, I was wearing the jacket for a reason that evening, and it wasn't that cold outside. You see, my girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber 1911 .45 ACP pistol for Christmas, and we had just picked up a shoulder holster for it that evening. Beautiful pistol, eh? It's a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, isn't it?
I know it probably wasn't a great deal of fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge flopping about in your pants. I'm sure it was even worse since you also ended up leaving your shoes, cellphone, and wallet with me. I couldn't have you calling up any of your buddies to come help you try to mug us again. I took the liberty of calling your mother, or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, and explaining to her your situation. I also bought myself some gas on your card. I gave your shoes to one of the homeless guys over by Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all of the cash in your wallet, then I threw the wallet itself in a dumpster.
I called a bunch of phone s@x numbers from your cell. They'll be on your bill in case you'd like to know which ones. Alltel recently shut down the line, and I've only had the phone for a little over a day now, so I don't know what's going on with that. I hope they haven't permanently cut off your service. I was about to make some threatening phone calls to the DA's office with it. Oh well.
So, about your pants. I know that I was a little rough on you when you did this whole attempted mugging thing, so I'd like to make it up to you. I'm sure you've already washed your pants, so I'd like to help you out. I'd like to reimburse you for the detergent you used on the pants. What brand did you use, and was it liquid or powder? I'd also like to apologize for not killing you and instead making you walk back home humiliated. I'm hoping that you'll reconsider your choice of path in life. Next time you might not be so lucky. If you read this message, email me and we'll do lunch and laundry.
Peace! - Alex

Obviously he isn't going to answer anyones questions. I have an idea. We just don't respond to any of his posts and he will eventually get tired of talking to himself and go away.
Frank, You are right. He's not capable of addressing the issues. All he can do is spout off about how much he hates Bush, etc. I think we've all established quite well he hasn't a clue about anything he posts. I think I am right about you being a Bush lover and the fact that you Reality take from our government, not the same as people on welfare but your doing it in a back handed way by pushing our bills from this generation to another. All I want to do is pay our own bills like we did when Clinton was in office. Take your baby you just had recently and put him on your lap and look him in the eye and tell him he will have to pay for your lower taxes and try not to laugh when you do it because your child might just remember that. If you did your research you would know that the credit and finance mess we are currently in is due to the Clinton era. So we are now paying for the mess his administration created. Bill Clinton's fair housing act is what loosened the restrictions on borrowing and enabled people to get sub-prime loans without proof of income. In addition, the Association of Community Organizations to Reform Now (ACORN) which Obama was a part of pushed to give mortgages to people who could not afford them by threatening banks and using the Fair Housing legislation against them. Do your research and you will see that Obama plays as much a part in this mess as do the CEO's of the banks we have to bail out.

On my kids XBOX 360, the cable has a switch for regular TV and high def TV and you use different AV plugs depending on which. I would say to make sure the switch is fully in the correct position for the TV you have it hooked up to and double check that you are using the correct AV plugs.

Not me. The Dems need to find better candidates than those 2. If they get elected you can forget about many of your rights. You'll pay higher taxes so they can focus on taking away the hobbies you enjoy while gving more of your money to illegals.

General / Open Discussion / Re: Reloading ammo?
|
on: October 18, 2007, 10:07:18 AM

I reload .45acp, .357mag, 45-70, .270, 7tcu, 7-30 waters, .30carb, and 30-06. Once you factor in all the cost of equipment, supplies and time reloading is not cheaper than buying factory ammo. It also takes a good deal of experimentation to beat the accuracy and power of quality factory ammo.
Make sure you buy at least 2 reloading manuals and read them carefully!! Reloading is not hard, but you need to make sure you are focused on the details and double check everything!! One book that I found really helpful when I got started is called "The ABC's of Reloading".
There are many different things you can do to match a round to a specific gun and it is very cool when you finally get it all dialed in and can see your groups shrinking. I have 2 loads worked up for each gun I own, one is for the best accuracy (target shooting) and the other is for the most velocity with acceptable accuracy (hunting).
