1  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Riding at Underhills on: April 01, 2005, 09:08:46 AM
we have been using the same argument for not being able to drink but yet die for our country since Vietnam. Its nothing new. Actually in 73 they changed the drinking laws to 18 and then after several years changed it back. Keep in mind that not everyone gets fake ID's and starts drinking at an early age. Many people don't. Besides thats not even the point. Underhills is for everyone. There is not a problem with anyone drinking and or getting drunk until infinges upon the rights of others. To argue if you don't like it don't go is not the answer. The issue at hand is one of safety and keeping the place clean. I don't think that you can really argue the point that a drunk 18 year old driving fast through the mud next to campsites at 1 in the morning is not a safety issue. All I'm saying is be safe, be clean, respect the rights and property of others. Personally, I think that just falls under being a decent person

I want to clarify the fact that the trailer itself was not burned. It was the contents that was burned. I'm still going to take my son out there. Its a fun place to be. With time everything will work out. With all of us discussing this and aware of whats going on, its bound to change.

Ass kicking is not the answer,,Also directions are from West Palm is west on SR710. Just before Okeechobee county line is a road that goes east. i think its 714 or 716. Go east about 5 miles. On the left hand side is his property. He has about 5 poles up with flags on them. Just pull in and stop at the office.

Heres the answer,, we need to just go out there and help. If you ride there pick up some other trash besides your own. Report to Mr. Underhill what you see. Lets try to make it better for everybody.

I was there over Easter week-end for 4 days. There was lots of water and mud. Mr. Underhill wants to have people come out there and have a good time. The problem was that there was a lot of kids drinking and rasing hell out there. They were up all night yelling screaming swearing and trashing the place. Mr Underhill does not want that. If you go and you see that goiong on, we all need to write down the tags and give them to him. He will then ban them. If we don't police ourselves out there, eventually we won't be able to ride.
