I live in Greenbrook Village, right off state road 70 in Bradenton. Where is everybody riding at in this area? I keep seeing mud truck, and bikes coming from the east on the weekends. Also seeing alot in St. Road 64 as well.

I got the chance to drive one today. A brand new stock one, and got it up to 49mph. Supposedly with just a few cheap mods, you can hit 60mph eaisily.

I rode up there 2 weeks ago. Alot of nice people. They had hair-sramble races going on there also. It's north of Okechobee, just past Kenansville. The only bad thing, was the dust and wind. Very windy weekend when we went. There is alot of trails , and alot of mudholes. Plenty for any style of riding,

Last I heard the crane was shut down a while ago, and now has condo's on it. I went riding out off S.R.82 last weekend, if you stay east of Blackstone, it is pretty dry. When you start heading back towards I-75, it is still pretty wet. There is alot of dry trials east.

Usally people cut there fenders so there is less air drag when doing long wheelies. Personally I think it is not the best idea. Especially if you ride any trails, the first patch of mud or water, you are going to be eating it right through your helmet.

I would be a little hestitant about riding dirt bikes out there just yet. You might want to wait about 3-4 weeks before going out there on a dirt bike.

I had a 1984 with a 350cc. The gas is on the steering wheel also. Honda later replaced the " Oddessey" with the " Pilot". There alot of fun if your into demolition derby. You could flip them upside down, roll them down a hill, push them back on there wheels and take off again without a scratch. You are held in pretty tight with a 5-point harness.
