I was looking at the google earth picture of the area. At the area that you said to park, it looks like in the street view there is a no trespassing sign at the entrance to the woods. Is that what I am seeing?

I bought our son who is 6 a Honda 90 on craigslist. Do yourself a favor and buy a named brand such as Honda. The aftermarket stuff is junk. The honda that we purchased 4 months ago was a 2009. I paid 1800.00 for it. Also, you can reduce the throttle on the machine to let your son grow into it. That is what we are doing.
Again, I would recommend that you buy a Honda. We ride alot out at RR and there is alot of water. That 90 runs and runs. Great machine for the money. I have had family members that have owned a ton of machines and we all agree that you cannot beat the 90 honda!!

thanks,
Fortunately, I have done some remodel work for a very high ranking pasco county sheriff's dept employee. So when it comes time, I'm gonna be givin him a call. Hopefully he will "hook a brotha up".
Not sure what "hook a brotha up" means. If there is probable cause to believe that a crime has occurred, then the deputy should forward a PCA to the States Attornies Office for review. Pretty simple to do. I hope that the deputies don't read this group and sees you bashing LEO's. Good luck.

If this bill passes, there will be more issues than people realize. Just think about all of the jobs that will be lost. I for one will be without a job. We will loose 45 positions. Florida will become a haven for criminals without the law enforcement that is necessary. The list goes on and on. Think about all of the housing foreclosures due to no work in the public sector. This Bill is BULLSH!T. All this to save 300 a year on my taxes! It is the same people that come down for 3 months a year and shut down our riding areas that are trying to pass this bill!

good job not calling the gangsters at PBSO.They would not help you in the least. They only promote their gangs and careers. If asking nicely doesnt work then you may need to get their attention more vigorously.Sometimes if you find out where they live ,you may find the parents are not aware of their kids behavior and will help you deal with them.
You're a jkass. Not all LEOs are the way you perceive them. Remarks like the ones that you make on this board are only job security and will take me to retirement with full benefits for life. BTW, what do yo do for work? Inquiring mind(s) would like to know.

I had a widow spider bite a few months back and it was the same thing. Went to the doctor and they cut it open and cleaned it out. They put me on anti-biotics for 2 weeks. Go and get it looked at to make sure. I was told that spider bites are nothing to play around with.

Here's one for ya. Most people that are into PWC's will remember about 7 years ago when Mercury Marine was going to enter the pwc market. Unfortunatly, the program was dumped. Well, that was the greatest job in the world back then. I think somebody was just refering to the Sabastain Inlet. This picture was taken over there right after a front moved through. That is a one of a kind Mercury Performance Craft. In the front storage there was a lap-top computer recording handlebar loads and various other loads on the craft. I was fortunate enough to be a technician of the testing and research and development for Mercury in Boca Grande. Anytime that there was a front about to come through on the west coast, We were out there running hull load strain testing in sometimes 6' to 10' seas. And yes, I was wearing a helmet and wet suit. Wish we would have carried a camera more often, But these for "secret" machines and we would have been fired.

Do as I did and take up fishing. I is alot easier to drive 10 minutes to the boat ramp and fish for a couple of hours than driving for 2 hours to ride the atv's. Just a thought.

Nextel service SUCKS. If it was'nt for the free air time through work, I would throw that phone under my truck tire. Did I say Nextel SUCKS? I have more dropped calls, and see Redialing on the screen while I am trying to dial out for half of my calls. My wifes T-Mobile service is better than Nextjunk! That is sad. The 2-way is BS. Just pick up the phone and call. Whats the point. Sorry, had to vent. BTW, Nextel SUCKS.

Heard of a place on 63rd ave. east. Was told to go to 17th street east off of 63rd and go to the dead end. There is a trail that leads into the woods and goes from there. I have not been there, but heard about it.

Yeah, I remember that ride with GreggT and family. Remember seeing a post from him stating that he would be renting a ryder truck to drive up there. I personally thought he was nuts. The good thing about that was he could be easily spoted pulling into the camp ground. I wonder what happened to all of those guys from that ride. Gerry6 and prediter were a couple of the ones that I could remember. I think that was even before da-mgt-man was wearing diapers , sorry mike that was the only thing that I could think of.

Its sad to hear about crap like that. Even though I haven't been down there for awhile my friends usually go.
If stuff like that keeps happening North Port will be off limits for sure.
I hate it when places close down, usually for developments. The holes that used to be Bee Ridge ext. are now a golf course!!! Yeah tell me about it. We used to go out there and hang out all of the time. Those flag ponds were loaded with bass back in the day. Breaks my heart to see all of those houses out there today. If only I had a wheeler back then. When my parents moved down here 28 years ago, my dad said that he could ride from central sarasota to out east till he couldn't anymore and never see that same thing twice.

This sounds like it could be a good ride. I may have to show up to this one. I have only seen very little of the forest. Would like to go deep into the forest, not to much of the mud. It should be pretty dry that time of the year. Right?
How bout it GreggT, you in one this one?

GPSMAP 76 here. Love it. Easy to use and downloadable maps from my PC. 299.00 at boatersworld. Also have the GPSMAP 182 in the boat. That is the greatest gps. To bad it is way to big to mount on the quad.
