General / Where to Ride? / Re: 30.00 PER PERSON FOR MSG?

SoFlaEiger - I agree with you completely!!
I've been a few times and last time was D.A.C. I brought first timers with me then. They will never return after that mess. I may not either! Specially at $30 dollars a head that makes it $120 for my family. We have 2 bikes.
If you're not making a profit at a net of nearly 2 million dollars a year ($30*5,000 people*12 months = 1.8 million). There is something seriously wrong. Okay even at 1 million a year. I still find that hard to believe.
All just my 2 Cents!
Mudmaster, pls keep us posted. I think there are some very valid constructive criticism in this post that, I’m sure may be difficult to take. Good Luck in your venture!

dont think ill do it again. sitting stopped in a line of ATV's for 45 minutes so one person can get there 2WD bike pulled out of a hole is not fun to me.
we would move 10 yards then stop for 10-15 minutes.
no thanks.

FYI-
Hi there. Sorry for the delayed response. We would love to have you and any of your friends help out with the clean up at 5A. As for where we are all going to meet up...Well some members will be parking in the parking lot near 95 however the main meeting spot is going to be near Maytown road. We are bringing a dumpster in from the Deltona area that has been donated by Four Jays Land Clearing. We are also planning on having media coverage to promote the fact that all ATV owners are not out just to tear up and destroy. We are having a officers meeting tonight to confirm details, Bj (club pes.) or I will get back with you and let you know for sure where we will all be meeting up at. There will be a HUGE Dumpster and our Muddy Waters sign as well. Thanks for the interest and hope to see you there. Robyn Johnson Treasurer

I would like to participate in the clean up, seems the right thing to do since we are there so much plus it NEEDS it. Ill work on brining another half dozen+ people too. What are the plans? I see it starts between 9-10. I assume we’ll meet in the parking lot? Will you a signage or some way to identify the clean up group?
