hey MyMaMuds... yea we are camping there this weekend.  yes the original .com site was hacked too many times and I gave up.  a guy in our group got a .net running with the forum but everyone got used to using the facebook page now.  its set to private but pm me your name and i can add you if your on FB.

we welcome anyone in the group and to come join us.

the campground is great!  trails suck IMHO but fun to at least ride.  so far we have about 20 going..  sat night is group taco/burrito night too!!

awesome place.. a big group of us are going for memorial day weekend

If you are going to be riding wide open and hitting it hard. I would choose Croom. Reason being  better visibility in the turns.  In Ocala remember there are also side by sides and jeeps that share some of the trails. And it's quicker to get back to the truck and recoup at Croom.   Both locations have 2 way trails so please look out for those who are not paying attention.  Either place is a blast.

i agree but dont think ocala is a blast for sport quads...it sucks IMHO!

the rangers suck and will write tickets for anything they can and they dont like you riding fast.  plus you are risking death riding fast due to blind corners with jeeps, sxs and modified sandrails coming at you hauling arse too!  no good!  if there were one-way trails it would be awesome.

croom FTW, great camping too

awesome place to stay!  the pool and facilities are great!

unfortunately i dont care for the trails much.  plus with 2-way trails and sandrails it can be scarry in the corners.

good for just cruising...not sport atv....imho

merle.. mine did the same...took out the battery and tried again...takes much longer to "boot" up... it also eats memory too, i didnt get a full race with it on...i have since disabled the protune and works fine.

go to any atv dealer, shop, mechanic or tuner..and ask them,if i spend $2 or 3 grand in ur shop, adding a full after market racepipe, jet kit,air filter, airbox & ignition to my stock bike, will u guarantee  me that my bike will increase at least 1 horse power over stock thru the full power band (low-mid-high ranges) if we put it on a dyno machine to verify it? i assumeeeeeeeee u there answer will be nooo i cant guarantee anything...i love it when dealers, mechanics & shops tell you well it could enhance ur power.hahah what BS,,if i spend a few grand i want my power to be way more then  just enhanced.

again you missing the point....without motor work those items will NOT give much increase but WILL if the motor can breath more than stock.

this is why i dont belive or care for after market pipes..i just finished talking 2 a buddy on the  phone,he has a 2010 hon,trx400.he bought a full race pipe $800.+instalaion$,plus a jet kit,air filter, after market air box & ignition coil, total cost of all the parts & labor $2000..he cliamed it was alot faster,i was on his ass, dyno ur bike and see the #'s..well he put it on a dyno machine today, gained 2.8 horsepower.on top end.the #'s for low end & midrange r almost identical to a 100% stock trx400. .he was so pissed off 2.8HP for $2grand down the drain.

well that statement makes me about give up being helpful....really...your making a decision and statements based off of an old technology air cooled engine? with only basically a little more air flow before/after the engine compared to stock?

its a relationship with restriction...if your engine itself can only breath so much, a less restrictive intake/exhaust will not do much.  now an engine built to breath with cams, displacement, compression, etc will see a greater difference with less restrictive intake/exhaust increasing velocity of air.

i would not have wasted the $ on a 400 either!

i cant agree...  there is a noticable difference, but...  you have to tune for it.

and.... if you are going to stay stock, stay stock, its not worth the $

if you are going with modifications...then you get the difference but are spending even more $

i have a 450r with just a HRC kit (no box lid, cams, jetting, rev limit mod & header).... when i got my HMF pro series it WAS a noticable difference in power compared to stock with restrictor removed...

Facebook and social networking has also taken a big bite out of web forums

that's a cool video Merle!  I love my gopro.  I tried to chest mount but found it showed too much handlebar also.  I guess I should be standing anyway

I would say go to a 13 up front.  Make sure case saver still fits.   Or a 37 in rear.

bbbrrraaaaapppppppp

if you have never ridden a track on a quad this is a great opportunity

i will be putt puttin around too

The TBRD ATV Games are cancelled.

I apologize to Paul and those who have planned and committed to this event. But, I am not willing to be responsible for a facility to cover its costs to host a special event for TBRD.

Unfortunately this is a result of our struggling economy but worse the current status of our ATV Community. I am deeply discouraged with the negative discussions, bickering and flip flopping our ATV community has recently displayed on this forum and TBRD.

what chillin bday.... wooooooot
