dang....

are you gonna paint the hole thing?

Yea gonna prime it first then paint it when i get the chance... probably have it primerd by next weekend... im going to pick up a used running 258 friday.

Well a little update on the car. I got it tag and insured last monday...
Took it to school work and to the store park it. then on the way to mcdonalds with my sis she starts Knocking like a mofo..
So since i couldnt just leave the car had to limp it home i open the hood to pull as much timing as i can and see oil down the side of the block.

Blew the Head gasket... galled a piston pretty good....
So the motors out and torin down... i was gonna rebuild it with some high comp pistons and such but right now i cant afford to do that so im gonna pick up a used 258 or 232.

Ive got 2- 258s lined up for 200 but im still in the market havent bought one yet.

And since the motor was out i figured why not clean and paint the engine bay...

Bad piston

And they all have this I think its a casting mark.

Not sure the year but I remember seeing one recently at our local u-pick that looked like the same body style.Would you like me to see if it's still there the next time I go and if it has a good left brake light lense? Let me know.

It actually needs both but im broke right now and will be broke for who knows how long. Im gonna build the trany... I figure why not build it right. Performance steels and frictions and a shift kit.

I agree!! were are you located ? I can ask the paint dept at my school if they can do it... most of the time its just the cost of paint and they can do nice stuff.

I'm in Hernando Co.  I was actually thinking of taking it on myself since I have a friend that painted his caprice candy red and it came out perfect.  I wouldnt be painting it candy red but the same color it is now, maybe with some flares.  Its all up in the air right now so who knows.  I first need a job

Yea paints expensive!! good luck with it.

Are you any good with TV installs? How much experience do you have?

Never done a Car tv install... I could probably do it no problem but untill ive done one of my own im not gonna do those.

As for car stereos ive done them in everything ive owned. Ranging from a prelude to pt cruiser to jeeps.

I don't know if this is the right place for this or not but let me know or move it/delete and let me know where it should go, thanks.

I`ve decided to start doing Car audio installs on the side to make some extra money.

My Pricing is very fair compared to what Best buy/circuit city would charge.
Pricing goes as,
$50 for a basic Head unit install.(Takes between 1-2hrs average)
$50 for a Subwoofer box, subs and 1 amp with Aftermarket head unit with RCA plugs. If you want them interfaced with a factory head unit there MAY be an extra fee depending on Vechil.(Takes about 1hr average but can take longer)
$10 To install a Capacitor with a Subwoofer install.(Adds Maybe 5mins to a Subwoofer instal)
$15 Per Pair of Door speakers. I perfer not to do amps for door speakers but will listen too offers.(takes between 5-15min per door)

IF you want A head unit,Subwoofer with one amp, 4 door speakers, and Capacitor all in one install I will make a Package Deal of $100.

You must supply the Parts, Head unit, Wiring harness(specific to your car), Dash mounting Kit(specific to your car), Antenna adapter(if needed Specific to your car),Amp Wiring, Speaker hardwear, and as of right now I do NOT have any vechile specific keys to remove factory units.

I will do my best to help you find everything you need. When you Inquire for an install Please include your Vechiles Make,Model,Year, Premium or standard factory radio, ON-star or not, And what it is you would like installed.

I go to Ptec 5 days a week starting AUG, 21st and Work 5days a week, So my schedule is limited but will do my best to make a time that works for you.

All Installs will be done At my House, No house calls.
I can Not warranty the work and take no responsibility for damage caused(I'm very careful, Some panels get old and crack.) nor can i warranty the products you purchased. I will do my best to help you fix any issues you have and will do my best to make you happy if an issue is to come up.

Any Questions just Send me a message on here, Or my Email 98ninja250R@gmail.com and ill get back to you ASAP, I check my mail daily.

I request that you don't comment on this blog enless you have had an Install done by me, I would like to keep the comments to only Customer reviews. Thanks
