Are you in Port Charlotte? How did you weather the storm?

I am close to Port Charlotte. We live in Babcock Ranch luckily, which you may have seen on the news as we were the only area that didn't lose power during Ian. Its been a heck of a few years with the storms! Thanks for keeping the site up and going. I come back occaisonally when I get the idea I need to buy some quads and a new toy hauler to show the kids how life should be! Hope you are doing well!!

I'm backkkkkk! I don't have a quad or anything these days but toying around with the idea. Have 3 kids now so it's time to get them out having fun!

I ran my 05 Vinson Auto with the HMF pipe but can't remember what jet I used. It actually ran great with stock jet.

I also have an 03 6.0 and had the engine replaced at 75,000 miles. Now I have 143,000 and it is still running pretty strong. Only had to spend $8,000 in repairs since the engine was replaced. Can't wait to get rid of this thing! lol..... With that said, head over to www.powerstroke.org and check it out. A few atvflorida members are active over there.

First of all.. Welcome to the forums. Secondly, your first 2 posts here are about a negative experience at a track that has a fairly good reputation. Have you contacted the track owners or managers? You don't need to post this twice, it will be found if you just post it once. I agree with you, that is no way to run a business. Start posting on the forums more and join up with some other riders that have kids. You and your kid will have a blast!!

UTV has off road titles in the state of FL. They wont give you a tag because of this...

Exactly... The only way is to get it prepped to meet all the other regulations and then find a state that will allow it to tranfer to an onroad title. then you have to register it in that state and then bring it back to Florida...

Wow, that's crazy... And if I recall correctly nobody wanted to do MX at L-Cross years ago. It took quite a few people from this forum to talk good about it.

Biden asks Powell, "Colin! Can you answer this for me? Your mother and father have a child and it's not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"

Colin Powell yells back, "That's easy. It's me!"

Biden smiles, and says, "Thanks!" Then, he goes back to speak with Obama.

"Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle. It's Colin Powell."

Obama gets up, stomps over to Biden, and angrily yells into his face, "No, you idiot! It's Tony Blair!"

good luck with this man... and you are right.... the atv crowd is hard to get behind you. we tried so hard with the Florida ATV Association a few years ago and nobody wanted to fight for riding lands. they are all just happy to complain.

TN does not require titles, but Florida does. The dealer should have also given the purchaser an MSO. It is basically the paper that the state issues the title against. You will need the BOS and MSO to get a title in Florida. You will also have to pay taxes and the 1 time registration in Florida.

1,000,000 not 10,000 and it's 0ver 750 and not 700. Typo on my part. This was in a report I read about three weeks ago in US News and World Report. This was down from over 4,000,000 five years ago. Pretty sad state of things.

And the beacon score is a huge deal. Every mortgage lender, automotive lender credit card company and insurance company rates you based upon your beacon score. Agreed that it's only one thing that's looked at. However, it is usually the first thing looked at and, if it doesn't pass muster....it goes no further.

Right now, with lending as tight as it is, you better have a 700 plus score to get a decent rate. Otherwise, you are paying through the nose. We're seeing it every day in the real estate department of our firm.

I have a 5 year old Dell that has never had any issues and runs great and very fast. I stopped using it because the power supply got fried and I broke the screen. I have always had Dells and the rest of my family have had Compaq and HP's. They have been through 2-3 each and I was still on my 1 Dell.
