I'm not sure how much our situations differ,but I too am a salaried employee. I was making pretty good coin when I was hourly if you factored in the overtime. When I was offered a managment position,I was given the old "sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward " speech. It was difficult adjusting at first and was a little frustrating but at the end of the day,I had no one to blame but myself. I knew what the offer was when I accepted it and I was told that there would be times when I would be required to work overtime. In other words,I made my bed so I had to lie in it. Luckily, things worked themselves out for me in the long run. I'm curious,were you told that you would be salary and that you would only be required to work a 40 hour work week when you were hired and if so,did you get it in writing?I think that would be the deciding factor.That's my guess anyway.I would recommend that you have a closed door with your boss and see if you can come to some sort of compromise before you get an organization involved,just in case you have no leg to stand on.It's hard to find any job right now.Good luck.

I'll be there with the boys, We get the paddock passes every year and have a blast hanging with the drivers and crew. Last year Bell Motorsports (Astin Martin) took peanut on the golfcart out to trackside in the actual pits. He was in heaven.

I would like to give a thumbs up to Steve the owner of Modded Motorsports.  Great guy, honest and stands behind his work.  If its broke and has an engine he can fix it. 

Steve was resposible for keeping T.C. on the track for the remainder of the '08 Dade City sponsors cup and a 4th place overall for the series.  He also kept us going right to the end for the '08-'09 SSQSA in the Pro-Am class and I believe a 6th place overall for the season.

Without him we would have been out for a while.

If it's a doctor,lawyer,banker etc,it would never cross your mind to tip them because in theory, they're doing pretty well for themselves. If it's your average blue collar worker,the chances are significantly increased that he works paycheck to paycheck.If that's the case and you can spare a few bucks,tip the guy. Trust me,even two dollars could make some peoples day a little better. That's a free drink and a bag of chips. When I was installing years ago,there were days between checks that I went to work broke and that two dollars was a blessing. If you got it and he does a good job,get off that wallet.
