Hit me Up! Lets Ride fuqers!

They have their own lake and pumps, they have mud on demand!

Hi guys, just a heads up me and a few friends will be at Hog Waller Oct 17-19.  If you have never been there I HIGHLY recommend watching this vid: Best Of Hog Waller Mud Bog 2013

The venue has Airboat racing, truck mud bog races, and 1000 acres of atv trails.  The riding there is 24 hours a day, and they usually have a concert / foam party on Sat night.  This will be the busiest weekend they have ever had, and one of the craziest for sure ---so if you into low-key this is NOT the event for you.  Heres the website: http://www.hogwallermudbog.com/

Super interested in meeting some of you, the more the merrier! HMU

lol, thanks Thunder!  Glad to be here.

**As a recap I rode St. Mary's Shoals State Park this Saturday AM and luckily beat the worst of the weather.  There was plenty of water, and it was fun, flat of course.  Basically gridded fire roads with marked loops trails that divert off every so often.  There are a variety of creeks to cross, but Im not sure how many of these were related to the St Marys entering flood stage as I rode, or are the norm?  I do know that the mix of powdered sand and gravel some of the trails feature would be dusty beyond belief without the rain, but were an absolute blast when wet going around corners.  The area also has horse paths that cross the atv trails, so the chance of hitting something bigger than a Polaris exists, be careful.  On another note I met someone out there and got to drive my first Commander 800.  Wow is what I have to say.  I did not think it would do as well as it did, or expect the HP. Other than some jerkiness at low RPM maneuvering based on the tranny (why cant they just let us change gears?), and some "floating" sensations at high speeds (55+) it was a pleasure!  In summary these trails would be good for a family outing or introductory / eval rides.  Nothing tech, but what a beautiful protected, unknown little gem it is.

Most welcome.  If it helps me get in the woods more often its the best 20 bux I will have spent this year.  The weather is headed in the right direction, lets plan a big ride somewhere!

***last posts I used my iphone, if I reported y'all to moderator by accident my bad. :/

Thanks 1Scorp. How is Ocala NF?

Patches I lived in east Tn for 3 years and with the exception of the racetrack that some of the most technical riding iv ever done, I love riding there! Can't wait to ride Croom -never been there. My ATV has AM exhaust and tires, that's about it. I ride at Hog Waller, but that's the closest I ride to Ocala NF, is it fun there? Terrain type?

Thanks Patches!  A little more about me..  39 M, riding anything with a motor since I was just a tot, currently on a Honda 450 Foreman.  Motocross and ATV racing background, but too old to keep breaking bones.  Love mudding, single track, trails, whatever.  Nassau Co. resident.

Next Planned trip I have: ATV / UTV Weekend @ Soggy Bottoms SEP27/28.  http://www.soggybottommp.com/

Anyone wanting to ride HMU anytime, the more the merrier!

Hi all,

Just joined in the hopes of meeting new people with atvs and more group ride opportunities.  I  live in North Florida, but travel all over. I cant really find any active atv clubs, and just hoping to meet like-minded people.  I hope to meet some of you soon on the trails. Whens the next ride?!
