We will have the Starting Gates up for our 1st race on the MX Track we will also have Trophies the cost and classes will be posted at www.sandmountainspeedway.com soon.
Sweet, try to do a quad only race kinda like seminole tribes doing, or get together with seminole tribe and a couple other tracks and run a series between you all and see what kind of numbers you can pull. So many tracks that you guys might shoot yourselfs in your foot trying to run your own series. :o

We would love to but a lot people say the Track is not quad frendly.

and you only need to work on that front straight and you track will be more quad freindly. ;D

That is the same day as the FTR race in Waldo. Sorry we won't be there for your first MX race.

TBR you stole the words out of my mouth. Consider changing your date of the race, you'll get a MUCH better turnout for sure.

yea, sand mtn, was a blast, i was out there with the crazy guys doing the triple in the front section, alot of the dedicated racers will be @ FTR though for 12/11/05 so i dont know if it will be as good of a turnout as it could be.

We did not know there was an FTR race that day.
my dad spoke with someone and he said he will try to get the date pushed forward 1 week.
If you guys can get the date moved, we will definatly be bringing the whole ATP / TORRI Race team down, as well as A LOT of the other quads that we are associated with.
As for the track being quad friendly, its very quad friendly IMO. I think the faces of some of the jumps could stand a little work, but those are just little things. The big step up is kind of hard to do on a quad becase of the face of the jump. The face is so strait up, it soaks most of our suspension and frames out the quad when you approach it with enough speed to do the step up.( hence, I blew out a shock, lol ;))
If you guys would like any help with setup on the track, drop me a line. Between all of the guys that race with us, there are a TON of years experience on racing and tracks. One of our team riders is a heavy equiptment operator, and he would be more than willing to come out and help get everything in tip top shape.
We love your track and would be willing to help in any way we can to make it grow.
