Just a thought, Check with your local county builders association, they could recomend someone reputable, and licenced to do the work!
for example I live in Citrus county, and our association is the ccba(citrus county builders association). They will be in your phone book.
  Dont take a chance on someone unqualified to work on your home that may do more damage than good, then you would have no recourse on legal action, your home is a major investment !
