Usually the person who hollars that someone is a racist is really the real racist. I think that no matter what color you are that you should be proud of your heritage, but its like homosexuals. Don't push it on me or blame me when you are having problems just to try to get something. If I lived in New Orleans and I knew that a hurricane may even be heading my way, (knowing that I was below see level) I would grab my family and walk out of there with my thumb in the air trying to hitch a ride. Everyone there knew that even if the levies did not break that with 25 foot waves that the waves would go over the levees and still flood the place. I feel bad for everyone out there but making it a poltical issue and trying to blame a person or persons is just rediculous. Why don't people just take blame for their own mistakes.

the govoner on la is black right ? why did he not evacuate all of his own people? it takes a couple of days for help to arrive they can not just drop from the sky of majically appear. understand that they thought they were abandoned, but it took days for us to get help last year. i just hope that they stop being stupid and we dont have to start shooting our own people just because a group of people want to be stupid and shoot at people who are there to help, and dont think for one second that any national guardsman would not shoot someone who has a weapon that  wont do as they need to do.those guys and women want to go home to their familes after they help not being shot over some thug that wants a vcr,tv or even a pair of shoes.i hope everything works out for them

Let me say something about one of the blackheads of America. New Orleans is one of the largest welfare recipients. WHY? I saw no malnourished complainers. Quite the oppisite.
They contribute to their own problems. They have access to all the resources I have.
I have had to work there many times. The first time I was excited. After that I hated it.
Blacks justify their bad behavior as just and deserving. Everytime I was ripped off. Where was Jesse Jackson to help me recover my things and to tell his people that that was wrong?
That city is so corupt it's not funny. That city is SOOOO full of drug addicts and junkies. No wonder after three days they went berzerk.
What about the mayor? Why didn't he do more to get the people out 3 days prior? He's Black. Is he racist? No. He proved he is definitley just like everyone else there. A blamer.
And how about Rev. Jesse Jackson? Where was he when the storm was coming? Everyone knows New Orleans was a disaster waiting to happen. Am I lying? That storm came up on me here in South Florida so fast I was shocked. After that it was projected to go right into New Orleans.
Maybe the President is a racist as you claim. I don't know the man. I think it's funny how people think there is some kind of magic wand the goverment waves and everything is okay.

Not to get off the subject of Kanye West ,but his comments open up whole messed up can of worms.
His comments bring to light all the ugly that man kind is capable of and like some one commented he is a racist .  He did more harm than good .

Well, there is no doubt there is a double standard but it is derived from  the Governments' attempt to apologize and make ammends for the enslavement of blacks in America.

The bad thing about this all, is that now they will rebuild the levees and pump out all of the water and then try to rebuild New Orleans. Why don't they just move the Levees further out into the gulf so New Orleans will be as large as they would like. That is so stupid. Thats like  giong out into the gulf anywhere and building 4 levees up and then pumping the water out so that we can build homes and buildings on the land that we want. If the man up stairs wants water somewhere then let there be water there.

The sad thing is we're the next South Africa in the making! Remember history repeats itself. There is a reason why we all split up into our own countrys. KANYE WEST needs to understand everything he has is due to the white man. With out the white man he would have  still been in Africa throwing a spear at prey everyday. Europeans developed the world, we built the cities, built the highways, our technology made cars,computers, medicine, space travel, planes, t.v., electric. I could keep going. Were not racial enough that's the problem our confidence has been brought down over the years with guilt over slavery . I've seen factual studys by scientist's years ago stating that negro's brain compasity is 40% less than whites. You can find such studies on the internet and  there are many books on this too. But if you talk about it your wrong and racist.That's b.s. I call it a realist, you can't argue the facts. I got in an arguement on this topic once with a white girl thats pro black, I asked  her to name me one thing the black man invented besides stuff like crack or ebonics and she thought for a while and said peanut butter.
