where did my thread go about the koo-koo bird that was crashing the fallen soldiers funerals? did i srtike a nerve with one of the mods?

i know this forum is family based and does not allow certain content but there wasn't anything offensive in that, is this how you guys get new people to stick around? is this a "old school" only forum?

i ask because i have alot of ATV knowledge i'd like to share, also i would like to find some new people to ride with, but if this is an "in" crowd kinda forum i guess i'll be moving on to find one that accepts newbies.  :(

Just got home after a hot day @ work to enjoy some good reading ........................   NOT !!  Apparently Mr. Bones doesn't like what US people are saying here , so its just easier to hit the delete key  >:(

Due to the nature of the original topic the thread was not deleted. However it was thoroughly cleaned out.

so what you are saying is if you are a freind of the site they will clean it out but if your not it will get deleted?

This site has been getting a little out of hand lately, even for me. It was only a matter of time before action was needed. I'm with Mr. Bones on this one. You cannot expect him to take the time to read all the posts within a thread.

Now that should keep me from being banned ;D

Your thread was hijacked with an offensive user. I, and the mods on the site will try our best to delete the offending posts and not the entire thread in the future.

And if there is an "in" crowd on this site, I'm not part of it. So don't worry. The majority of the people here welcome newbies with open arms.

you guys missed some of the post from the guy named satan something (other first time poster). Sorry but I am with mr Bones on this one. Mr Bones works for a living just like us. He doesnt have the time to read 4 pages and take sides.

I don't read all the posts on the site. Offensive posts are reported to the moderators with the "Report to Moderator" function on the site. 9 times out of 10 there is a good reason for it.

I deleted about 3 or 4 today. There are still over 59,000 posts on the site for your reading pleasure.

For the record, I haven't banned anyone on this site in over 6 months (and even those bans were lifted when the site was upgraded at the beginning of this month).

No, not exactly. Due to the nature of that post, it was picked clean as a courtesy of the poster. No matter who it was.

That is correct. It was hijacked by "ChurchofSatan". Actually his posts weren't that offensive at all but his screen name was questionable.

i've seen WAY worse stuff on here than anything in that thread that i started, it would make more sense if someone that has been around for a while that didn't particularly care for me pulled a few strings.  ;)

Before I went to bed last night (was pretty late) Your thread started getting pretty tacky really fast… this guy that they were talking (church of Satan) about was called a retard and then it was all down hill from there…. Thank you Mr. Bones for keeping this site clean! That thread got really raunchy and nobody needed to read that garbage! I want to talk about quads group rides and useless new/jokes not a opinionated battle over stupidity.

So, he got banned because of his screen name (ChurchofSatan)? Even though his posts were not offensive? I must have read that wrong...cause i dont think this site is for Christian users only. I agree, i think it was probably someone from this site doing it in spite. His point was obviously made if he was banned for this reason.

His post’s did get offensive. By him proclaiming his Satan hood it provoked even more offensive material. So Mr. Bones nipped it in thee bud and fixed it. Its kind of like changing the oil in the quad… Drain the oil and not change the filter going to have problems so fix it by taking care of everything.

so he did get booted because of his screen name?

i'm new here but everyone has been friendly not sure you have to be with the in crowd from what i have read

haha i wasnt aware there was an in crowd on atvflorida lol. Although, this site has changed a lot since i first came on here...LOTS more drama.
