Title: Apalachicola National forest info??? Post by: cheapthrills on September 03, 2010, 03:56:11 PM The question has been asked many times, but never really any answer so I'm going to bring it up again. Anyone ever ride there. My daughter is at FSU so I was thinking or a weekend ride there. The gov sites not real great and would love to hear from someone who has ridden there. Anyone????

Small parking fee and small ATV fee(don't remember how much). The terrain is like ONF. But, no crowds and saw no Po-Po all day. Woops near the entrances to the designated trails, but, they disappear after a mile or two in. A few places can have deep water where sport bikes would not get through without being towed through, but, it's no problem for 4x4s. And, I'd recommend taking a GPS until you know the place. The entrance is only a few miles west of Doak Campbell stadium.
