Why is the weather always nice on Monday?

It's funny that you say that.  I have absolutely no evidence that it is true but some theories say that all the activity of the work week adds enough heat and moisture into the atmosphere to cause rainy and windy weather on the weekends.  Of course, by mid-day Friday, things are ramping down and the weather settles down just in time for Monday.  Obviously, it's the equivalent of an old-wives tale but there's enough anectdotal evidence to consider it....   :dunno.gif  BTW, who's bass fishing this weekend?  I'm getting up in the morning, loading up on shiners and heading to the Everglades to see what's what.

Let me know how you do in the morning.  I am thinking of bass fishing this afternoon.  I just got finished putting new carpet on the bass boat and replacing the wood on the front deck and floor.  I plan on launching out of Holiday Park but haven't gone fishing since late November, back then the fishing was slow.  BTW, I am gonna have to bust your chops on using shiners......thats cheating.

Here's one for you.....why is it that everyone who knows that I drive a pickup truck thinks that I am a moving company?  I swear I have helped 3 different people move into new homes in the past 4 months.

I have another one ... Why is it when my wife is here I can't touch her in bed without sweating my a$$ off but when she is gone I can't sleep.  My wife leaves for a week and like some crazy little kid I can't sleep.  LOL

To a purist, yeah, shiners might be cheating but I'm taking my 11 yo boy with me and we want to catch big fish.  No easier way to do it than shiners!   ;)

Had a problem with one of the wheels on the trailer so never made it out on the boat but we did hit the canals in the corporate park.  Bass were pretty frisky.  We were using Jones green worms and Berkley root beer w/blue tail worms.  They liked both of them equally.  Jumped one that probably went 4-5 lbs but the rest were around 2.

Same reason the idiot youve been following 10 mph below the speed limit  for 20 miles enters the 2 lane passing section and speeds up so nobody can get by & than slows down when it merges back.
