I'm thinking of getting started in some utilty XC races. What do I have to do to get started? I have an Arctic Cat 500 what would need to be done to the quad to get it race worthy?

FTR requires, Spark arrestor, tether kill switch, and front /rear number plates

Don't forget the helmet, boots, goggles, etc
