just got back from Long Island, New York. we spent the last 3 weeks there. i haven't been back home in 2 years so i figured i would share some pics with you guys. the first ones are of my secret surfing spot. had to take my son to all the stomping grounds.
nice floater.
the water was a steamy 65 degrees
nice 5 mil wetsuits
then i took him to the spot where we used to jump the waverunners. 1/2 mile off the beach. great sandbar.
couldnt start the day without a lumberjack special. 4 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, cheese. on a hero.
took grandpa and the kids to the public pool. that water was freezing too.

Nice pics , last time I visited New York was July 4th,1976 for the 200th anniversary . Back then 42nd st was a rough place to be .I remember on the New Jersey side , Union City to be exact ,there was a garbage strike ,it was bad and hot as hell .

thanks guys. the main reason we went up was for the christening of our twins. here's a couple of pics of the christening and the party after. the egg sandwich was 3.99 comes with medium coffee. ;D
first time me and my dad in a pic together since i was 13. my dad looks like capt. phil from deadliest catch.
these 2 guys are twins and are godparents to my kids (twins). been friends for 28 years now.
all in all we had a great time. a little too much partying. very home sick now. :(
