my name is michael deater. i was the kid that crashed at the gncc race in fl. i would just like to thank everyone that was looking out for me and woundering how i was doing. im fine now just got a concussion and im real sore but hopefully once my quad is fixed i will be out in the race circuit again lol
if ne one could help me out on finding parts that would be greatly appreciated thanks

wow! I bent and split my stock 400ex a-arms last weekend riding. I hit a stump because I was paying more attention to Travis Pastrana haha it was a funny crash but it sucks. Yours thats just insane! The reason mine split and bent the way it did was because jumps weakened the structure were the welds were making a spider crack not even visable but once I hit that stump it finished it off. What did you hit and how fast or what gear were you in if your remember?

i was in the first yer racer 16-24 class lol. i dont remember how fast or what gear i was in all i remember is waking up in a helicopter.

new front a-arms
new front shocks
new rims
new tie rods
bassically a whole new fron end and plastics lol

no idea i was today i lost control and went into a tree the mile marker 1 tree to be exact lol

250r A arms will fit that too. I may have some aftermarket ones laying around that I could get ya cheap.
Like $50 bucks plus shipping.

stock 250r arms will give it a +2 stance but will bolt right up
I have stock 400ex front shocks if you want them, $50 plus shipping. Same thing happened to me, except i ripped off one of my lower a-arm brackets and cracked a few welds on my frame. :( still trying to rebuild as well.

He was goign balls out and hit the tree. He passed one of my buddy's that was racing his same class . He hit the tree perty damn hard said he looked liek a ragdoll. he stayed with him till they got him on his way to the helicopter. My freind thought he was going to die out there thats how hard he hit the tree.
sounds just like my wreck, minus the chopper ride. It's crazy how you can tuck your arms in and the impact just explodes them out to the point where you have no control...i didnt like that feeling lol.
Oh and of course im glad your ok man!!
yeah the chopper ride was pretty wierd i mean ive never been in a plane lol but im looking for aftermarket stuff i dont trust stock parts ne more
shoot the way you hit aftermarkets would look the same

mart man. balls out in straights not in turn that has a tree in it
yeah lol for sure i have no idea what was running through my mind whne i decide to do that. im normaly a very conservative rider to i dont go balls out unless i know the terrain
Hey, i remember seeing your crash when i was coming around on my second lap there were a bunch of people standing around you and they made everybody slow down, it looked really bad. Glad you're alright though. That course was really rough, i crashed twice on the first lap, then on my third lap my subframe broke and i had to be towed out. Well hope to see you at the races soon!
i hit your helmet when it rolled of the john deere so sorry bout that it was just my tire so probably no damage.
i bet the tree did more damage to the helmet than your tire

on december 1st was my last crash i cracked my head on a rock going down a hill, cracked my helmet open and gave me a concussion, after every good blow to the dome you want to replace hit.

If your helmet took a hard hit I would throw it out and get a new one. Once they take a hard shot the integrity of the helmet is compromised.
