Its a technically a TRX250R with big bore 330 cylinder. ;D I might do that as to come up to have some fun and I will try to round up some guys to go up and race.

Its not that fast, there are alot of Banshee that are alot faster.  I can hold my own especially for my weight 260lbs.  The bike would go faster with a lighter rider.  But I didnt build the bike for another rider, I did it to MX and got hurt flat tracking so I made a sand drag/ street racer/drag strip bike. So I am trying to have as much fun on it as possible without getting hurt.

Yeah I guess this older bikes with a little TLC can really scream.  I was actually suprised to get over 50 HP to the rear wheels for a single cylinder.

Hey guys, Looking at the calander the 18th is the same day as our next Hazlehurst race. Is there anyway ya'll can bump it up a weekend to the 11th. If not I'm not sure I can get alot of GA boys to come. I thought you guys raced on the second weekend of the month, we always race in Hazlehurst on the third weekend. If not we will just have to see you guys in January. Let me know!

we do race 2nd weekend but smokey races when ever his wife will let him. he always has something going on so when ever he is there with the lights we are there.

yeah guys, we are racing the same time this month.  Basically due to the fact that I will not be available on the 11th.  USUALLY we race the 2nd saturday, but when something comes up, we move up or back a weekend.  I understand you guys can't make it down on the 18th.  The race in January will be the 8th.  THat should be the 2nd saturday.  We are coming up in January and you guys will hopefully come down.  SOrry about the scheduling conflict.

Slowltz - bring something to the races that runs and then come get you some.  What did smokey do to that 450 last month?

Anybody  planing  to  ride  thanksgiving  weekend ?   There  will  be  a  bunch  of  us  out  at  Eureka  thursday  till  sunday.  Gasgasman  will  be  camping  there  and  you  can  ride  at  nite  plus  no  hunting  aloud  in  this  area.  Also  a  nice  hardtop  area  for  drags.  Bring  it !!! ;D

FOUND 300EX IN LAND O LAKES. AND FOUND MY BANSHEE AT SANDMOUNTAIN. BLACK GUY WAS TRYING TO MX IT WITH A 10 OVER SWINGARM. IT WAS KIND OF EASY TO FIND MINE IT WAS THE ONLY BANSHEE AROUND DONE UP IN STARS AND  STRIPES WITH A STRETCHED SWING ARM. I WAS TIPPED OF THE VERY SAME DAY IT WAS STOLEN.  JUST GIVE A FEW  IDEALS OF PLACES TO LOOK. THEY WENT TO FAULKENBURG ROAD ON IT AND TO croom AND SANDMOUNTAIN. Frankie I hear ya! sounds like a plan to me. Ware if it is the same group of theifs which it probably is being in that area, go to the places and put up signs and cruz thru faulkenburg road area, progress village, they are bold too, they ride them right down the road usually so lots of people can see especially if it looks sweet! That's F&!#ing stupid they are.!! Hopefully we can get it back! BTW what does it look like color plastic, is there anything unique about it??    

well it has new full bore white plastic, chrome arms, bright red swing arm, billet carrier, lowering kit, sway bar. the stolen quad forum had better details than i can think of right now....

If I remember right you didnt do nuttin to the 450 but look at it it was le that put him out by just a little bit. thats alright though think whatever makes you feel better.

sorry to hear about your quad ware. That sucks after a great night of racing.we will be looking around.

Is there like rules for the racers?  Like is a kill switch needed, teather cord? What are the classes exactly and what are the rules for each class.

must have a teather
kids class - 90 cc or less, 13 or less age
stock - stock pipe, stock length, no limit on tires, 4 strokes 400 and less, 2 strokes 350 or less.
mod - anything that is stock length, stock jugs, no limit on tires, can't run alcohol or nos.
full mod - same as mod just extended swing arm
open - run what ya brung.

chillin bring more that your entry fee, and we can really see what the smoke dog can do.  C'mon with it.  Come get some of this RAG!!!!!

300 feet? any time slips? Hows the sand?  Is it like Ortona, thick? What kinda lights do you guys have?  Im just trying to get an idea what to expect. Do we get any warm up runs? Is there a Tech to check bikes over?

hey where you going hunting at in ga. smoke? and oh yea do we get to run the polaris with the grizzly boys we run a short wheelie bar. ??? ??? ???

225 feet, no time slips, sand is thick, the cut it about 3 inches the night before, so it soaks up some horsepower at the beginning of the day, but it gets fast quick, the light are basically a stage light, then 2 yellow lights and a green light, the light drop with .5 second intervals between them.  i check  your bike over if it is your first time.

haha, your gonna $hit when I tell you where i hunt.  I hunt on a lease in baxley that is where the camp is.  I hunted on a plot just off of road 144 east of baxley, and i hunted on a plot in hazlehurst.  It was the land right behind the mayor of hazlehurst house where the railroad tracks cross the road to where the power lines cross the road all the way back over to the hazlehurst golf course.  I asked a few locals from baxley about sand drags, but they have never heard of them.  Looks like I will be hunting in that lease next year, so might get a few chances to race up there next year.  Where exactly are the sand drags from the golf course?

one practice run......

Meth, its way better than Ortona its all heads up no time slips double elimination. The lights are way better than the traffic signal they use in Ortona. The track is dirt, not really sand, but not that muck either. They till it the day before so its is pretty loose. I dont know if you remember talking to me in Ortona or not I ride a white yfz with a chopped down stock pipe. The Saltsdale crew puts on a great race and all the racers are cool. Come on up.

hey smoke if you hunt close to the golf course in hazlehurst you're about 6 to 8 miles from the track 341 dirt drags.

open class is supposed to be run what ya brung, anything goes. This would be smokes call. Personally I dont think it belongs there, you should have to sit on it to race with us, not in it.

Alright.  Couple things I need to get some feedback on.  
*How many kids are gonna make it this time?  
*We will have an open class "RUN WHAT YA BRUNG" 35 dollars to enter (30 dollars will be paid out of the entry fee)  1-5 riders, pay 1 place, 5-10 riders, pay 2 places, etc.  
*Last but not least, what do you guys think about making the entry fees 20 dollars per class for the race in january, and pay out more places.  Like if we had 15 riders, 1st - 85, 2nd - 65, 3rd - 45, 4th - 30.  Just a thought.  

Why pay out so many places? We need to be able to win more money so that we can pay for our gas to run. That is my 2 cents. I would like to get it where the 1st place guy could win like 150 or 200 dollars. That would be nice.


I think the open class should be a winner take all if you only have up to say 8 bikes & have a meeting with open class drivers to see what kind of entry fee they want to pay. That way they could win a little more money.

The clermont crew is about wore out for the weekend went to dade city afterwards 450 got 3rd rest on down the line ware racing showed us how to do it at their track then off to ft.meade where we finished up 2nd gucci, 4th fastltz. and 450 le 6th.


Have to say looking at the results at saltsdale it was nice seeing all the locals showing how it was done cograts to everyone.

Whats up guys sounds like you all had fun ;D .Glad to here that the hazlehurts race was awsome. ;D I think badcompany racing got 1st in pro stock. ;D I got first in yfz 450 class ;D and I got first in stock banshee class ;D. TMR Racing got first in outlaw. ;D Pocket change racing had the track record at 4.03 sec in 300ft they came and broke that record with a 3.84. 8)It was on a three cylinder banshee. It was fast as hell... :o I am not sure who won 4.60 class out of about 15to 20 bike i came up to about fourth place pull to the line and my drag bike just stated f...ing  up. It broke two pedals off of the v-force reeds. sh.t happens. :( Geter done next time.Hope to see you guys on Jan 8 2005. HALLOOR LATER.

Dont worry smokey, I know right where that zilla is and I can assure you that you'll see it on the 8th. Congrats to you though, your bike is back in action. Looks like I might have to find some hp to stay near the top. I think I'll wait though and mod up my kids bikes first, I'd like to see the Watson name at the top of that class too. :)

smoke, all I got to say is the tribals spanked that a$$. There were some fast bikes up there this time and it was good to see we keep the crown up here. btw If you plan on taking money anywhere you better do some serious mods cause I spanked you w/ basically a stock bike (motor wise)w/ pipes . You need to spend some time and really tune or find someone that knows what they're doing to tune your bike than maybe you might come in third!!!!!! ;D
