this orange wire is in the front of the quad, the directions say no splice into the orange wire that goes into the starter coil this is one of the few orange wires on the quad????????????????????????????????????????????????? Post by: predatorracer8 on October 28, 2007, 09:13:27 PM i am installing a pro design, and my quad is electric start, i couldnt find the wire but i got so p'ed off i was about to just clip one of the wires coming out of the strater box and splice it in, but i didnt think it was worth the risk...

Post by: dirtyrooster on October 30, 2007, 01:27:18 PM hey man, I just put a Pro Design kill switch on my 06 Predator . the short wire on the kill switch gets grounded to the frame and the long one goes to the white wire with the red stripe coming off the stater. I got the techs at the local dealership to help me find the correct wire from the stater, spliced it in and everything worked fine. IM me if you have any problems. :}} Before you mount the switch, make sure your wire is long enough to reach the stater. I had to move mine down the bars a little. P.S. make sure your bike is the same as mine! I don't know if yours is different or not!
