Title: my new ride & my friends crf450 Post by: rubicon500kid on April 17, 2007, 05:37:42 PM well i sold my rubicon a few weeks ago after geting busted at a local spot and it closing down and i want to help out my mom so i gave her half and with the rest i wanted to try some thing dif and ride where I want to and not get bothered by cops (mx track) so I bought an 01 kx 125
It has a PC pipe Tag bars Pro rear wheel And a few lil things But I was told it was race ready and ready to ride I didn’t notice it at the time but when I got home it needed a new clutch and a bunch of other crap good thing is it starts 1st kick and I learned my lesson now lol This is what I had to order Motion pro clutch cable Motion pro clutch lever Tusk clutch kit with hd springs Twin air filter Rear linkage bearings Rear shock bearings It still need's a few other things but I don’t have the $ to buy them right now Here is a few pics of it at the mx track(couldn’t ride it because that’s where I found out what was wrong with it so I wasted like 40$ out there ) here is also pics of my friend on his crf450 Here are pics of my bike (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0270.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0252.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0251.jpg) When we first got there (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0250.jpg) both bike’s (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0264.jpg) Here is my friend on his crf450 (he wasn’t riding as hard as he dose and was running in c class because he wrecked pretty bad and hasn’t been riding as much ) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0261.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0260.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0257.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0256.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0255.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0254.jpg) (http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j240/rancher350kid/cimg0253.jpg) Title: Re: my new ride & my friends crf450 Post by: gearhead400 on April 17, 2007, 05:42:15 PM thats a good looking bike man, congrats. I'm going to be doing the same thing here soon i hope. I think the buck fifty article in either dirtrider or riderx inspired a lot of people to jump on a dirtbike...or at least it seems like it.
