Hey guys does rim width affect the width of tire you have to buy? Basically can I get 12 inch wide tires on the same rim that i would get 10 inch wide tires on?

Get a new pair of tires for the Brute force. Right now it has 10" tires on the front and the back. i wanted to put some 12" tires on the back. i just wanna make sure i can do that.
