You need read reviews on ps3 why it's going suck to buy system for 600$. I guess i have to buy xbox360 instead when halo 3 comes out.. We have 2 of them and one broke just out of warrantee and it cost $130 or so to fix it. I was pi**ed.

http://reviews.cnet.com/Sony_PlayStation_3/4505-6464_7-31355103-2.html not really sure what you are talking about.... only thing it says about the DVD player is that it is blu-ray which basically makes it an HD dvd player....not sure how there is a problem with that lol the only bad thing i've heard about the ps3 besides the high price for a console is that it has been burning up older model TVs. I hope the results are false because I know it they do that I know every videogame company will sue them for not letting people renting games like at blockbusters, movie gallery and gamefly.com.. I know I read in the in popular science magazine in the 2006 August issue coming out with a new technology with sunglasses that you can hook up DVD player or game console or play Ipod to look inside in a clear sunglasses lens in 2008... Not sure how true that is but luckily my tv won't have that problem lol That, explains it very well why dvds are so diffrent types of their programing with Digital cd numbers inside of Cd so everybody can't play there friends ps3 games on other ps3 colsole systems just only his owned colsole system that he or she bought.
