New state law requires a certificate of title  atv / dirt bikes  in order to in order to operate  in state owned land. The same is required on  lands managed by the federal gov ,ie; Dept of the interior , National Park Service etc.

Like he said, just write down your vin# & give it to the ranger along with your drivers license & cash & you are in. They track the vin #'s on a stolen list & if your vin matches, they will come to get you at the address on your license. They really dont require a "TITLE" or MSO cert.

I thought they required you to show them the title ?
